Just managed to get through the factory in RE Village and about, I suspect, to take on Heisenberg one final time. I like the portrayal of Chris Redfield in this game and the story twists that come with him. Didn't like that nutter with the rotating blades as much though smashing through a load of walls though moments before. Using a sniper rifle from 3 yards out having run out of everything else isn't ideal At the moment I prefer it to 7. Let's see how it plays out. The weakest aspect of 7 was the final ending so we'll see.

Just passed through the Stronghold in RE Village having taken on an army of those werewolves. Ammo depleted, none at the shop to buy, I have over 300000 Lei. Yet here I am and can't spend it on anything Great game so far though. I hope it doesn't turn into RE6s endgame of bad level design and no ammo pickups. Need ammo!

If you're willing to spend 1k though, I'd save another 200 and get the 55". Bigger is not necessarily better either. A 55" is ample big enough from a distance of 2-3 metres so I wouldn't go 65". You can't go wrong with an LG OLED.

I can't think of a game that has done a section of horror as well as this. Silent Hill maybe? The whole house scenario with the baby and all the creepy stuff was something else. Don't think I could cope if it was in VR

She or it? You'll know when you get there. You're in luck with MGS. The Snake Eater remake aka Delta is out this year. As for other types of games, tricky to compare MGS with other titles since they're quite unique. In terms of stealth, there isn't a lot of recent decent stuff. If you have PS Extra you could download the Dishonored titles, Deus Ex, Sniper Elite, the AC titles... there's quite a bit of choice there. If any other genres are of interest, there's plenty of other stuff to get into. I'd recommend a PS Extra subscription to download a load of free stuff that could keep you busy for the next couple of years, no problem.

I haven't played it before. After the fiasco at launch, I left it alone. This, BG3 and Jedi Survivor are on my hit list. As is GoW Ragnorok which is conveniently free on PS Extra from Tuesday. I'm currently at House Beneviento in RE Village. Brilliant game so far, the atmosphere is very intense. Surprised Lady Dimitrescu is in it for such a short amount of time given the marketing before release. Thought she was the main protagonist. Not read much into the story, let it surprise me as I go along.

Watching MotD last night and Fulham's highlighted top player Sander Berge cost the same as this bloke. Performances were light years apart. Why do we consistently throw big money down the toilet for dross?

Perhaps I was being a little harsh on RE Village. This Castle Dimitrescu area is brilliant. The audio through headphones at 1am is something else

RE Village is decent so far but there's one to many scripted events in there at this point. RE4 flows better in comparison. In terms of atmosphere though, it's great.

At what point do those leaving early, leave away from their season tickets? Could be a fair few at the end of this season.
