And yet he's trying to get them play tiki taka football in their own box.

Seems to be showing the same frailty as a lot of the managers with the same ideology. If everyone is fit and available then they can look decent. Now he's got 6 or 7 first choice players out - instead of being a bit more pragmatic and looking to grind out results, he's asking a bunch of 19-22 year olds to come in and play the same risky brand of football. I'd be shocked if De Zerbi stays past the summer - he seems unhappy and it doesn't strike me that Brighton are going to bend over and be dictated to, by a manager. Can see him leaving by mutual agreement, you'd expect Brighton already have 2 or 3 names they're interested in replacing him with.

I still remember seeing a video of him doing the ice bucket challenge and was shocked he was a DOF of a Premier League football club

What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?

Watching games and being able to celebrate goals without wondering how someone is gonna try and rule it out -
Maddison infuriating, demanding the ball and constantly killing any tempo in their attacks

Found his level.

I feel like it's been a case of Leeds bottling it more to be fair haha. WBA was a coin flip game and we were very fortunate for it to go our way. We then face a Southampton team that appears to be looking to avoid injury for the play offs and Leeds played a QPR team that looked like they belong in the top 6. Either way - in theory it should be a positive for the lads to take forwards. Best case they can tell themselves say that they got the job done and worst case - they can at least say they've got bigger bollocks than Leeds and Liverpool players.

Given that promotion should have been the expectatiin with the squad we put together by the end of August, it feels more like job done. With the general coverage of teams outside of the Prem massively improved and how unejoyable many parts of the Premier league are. There's definitely less excitement than the previous few times we've gone up. Part of the bonus was being on fm and seeing more of your team on the BBC sport site and stuff like that. Nowadays I have access to all games, highlights and I feel like I know far more about the club than I should ever need to I imagine it'll mean a lot more to Ipswich fans in general than it will to ours as its something fresh, exciting and I imagine family unexpected

Lock it in. Well done Enzo! The club absolutely needed to return this season and youve delivered. I have my doubts but all that needs saying for now is bloody good job and thanks for getting the job done!

Leeds nothing yo lose and QPR are gonna be knackered. If they score first 10-15 I wouldn't rule out a come back haha
-
Farke has such a loser mentality. His team are getting absolutely played off the park
-
QPR grafting their bollocks off this first half. Theyre gonna be knackered come 60 mins Fair play though

I'll definitely be looking forward to the undercard more than the main event

Pre-season friendlies, what do you want?

We can only dream of a couple of weeks in Thailand -
N'Gannou is signed upto the PFL for now - think he has a fight soon. Sounds like it'll be Edwards and Aspinall co-headlining. Main noise seems to be for Edwards v Belal. Bobby Green all but confirmed he'll be fighting Paddy Pimblett. Feel like I'm already committed to staying up till 6am for about 5 or 6 or the next 13 Saturdays with the boxing and UFC cards that are lined up. At least footie season will be done so I won't be starting the day off at 11am, these 11am till 6am drinking sessions are fun but I pay for them the next 2 days

Oh 100% they're pandering to the american audience - which is fine, that's gonna be where the majority of their PPV buyers will come from. If they want to do that though, have it in America where the crowd isn't gonna either be half asleep or have to be coked out their heads

On a Saturday?

That is where the overcoaching is so much that it just completely kills any individuality or common sense. Absolutely mad that they were playing that way with 5 or 6 man City players in and around their box

Noncing around at the back, classic.

If Dyche and Moyes are there that'll be two that'll do that. The main difference is that Premier Leagues will put in some effort against us - that Southampton team was unbelievably lackluster. Reminded me of us under Rodgers. Slow and boring on the ball, slow and weak off the ball.
-
Yep that's the main problem, explaining the decision ultimately won't help at all because one man's "He's milked that, it's clearly a dive" is another man's "enough contact for him to go down" Just look at how differently me and @StanSP seem to view 99% of penalty decisions It's why a time limit is about as perfect a solution as you will get. If you can't tell if a decision is correct or not within 30 seconds of looking at about 8 different replays then it falls into the category of uncertainty. Adding extra subjectivity to refs jobs will only weaken their performance

I'd be shocked if it sells out - if it does I think it'll be the quietest crowd ever as everyone is gonna be bollocksed - unless they're offering free cocaine in the toilets Could almost understand it if it meant that the American PPV crowd would have to stay up till a ridiculous hour, but it just means the card fight would be on in the afternoon/early evening They could with finding some middle ground and having the Main Card Start at 11pm UK time.
