Leicester 1-0 Sunderland Post Match Thread.

Enjoyable game till we scored. Proper Southgate mentality, treat the opposition like Man City as soon as you go 1-0 up. -
This ref is awful. Hows he not booked ballard for that dive Terrible performance. Terrible ref.
-
Time wasting against an awful Sunderland team. Our mindset is so weak right now.
-
That sums us up haha Winks breaking through into their third. Turns around to pass backwards, loses the ball and Sunderland win a corner from our counter attack
-
Such a good ball, shame our footie had put all the players to sleep so nobody saw it coming
-
As soon as the mindset switches all of a sudden I'm thinking, when is the equaliser coming rather than when is the 2nd coming it. It makes no logical sense to me
-
Tempo went from 100mph to about 10mph after the goal. Closest weve come have been from long balls over the top since the goal

He'd probably be good for a half but I know what you mean. I'd prefer him there to the wing tbh, especially over the other 2. Depends if we want to make a quick start to the game, he certainly always injects tempo into the team. -

Albrighton in the right side mezzala position is something that crossed my mind as well, I think he would actually be quite decent in that role. He'd certainly bring a lot of energy and would get into positions where he can put ball into the box. -

They are important, my point wasn't very clear probably To expand, I think we've got our system down quite well and it's clearly been working. What we're missing at times is that desire to get the ball into the back of the net and create chances. We sometimes look too comfortable and can waste great periods of time not really doing anything. -

I'd probably just stick with what we've been doing, just do it faster and with more purpose. At this stage, the tactics are neither here nor there. The tempo and desire to win need to be there.- 394 replies

I still wouldn't be starting Casadei if he was here now tbh.

Back to normal service tonight. The recent results should have put a real fire under the players, quietly confident that it can be the reminder we need to keep the foot on the gas right till the end. Expecting to see more tempo tonight, a real chance to notch some goals against a weakened and poor team. They're genuinely weakened...we can still field a team full of internationals and premier league players. -
Still possible for this team to go on a winning run so I wouldn't rule it out. Especially with Wilf getting back in a few weeks
-
Well if youre not aware of someone being there then its essentially the same as nobody being there. In that the player is making that move under the assumption a player isn't there. Maybe it should be a red card regardless of where it is on the pitch or the circumstances. Rather than punishments being dished out based on the results, punish the actions. Yellow for me, ref got it spot on with his initial assessment.

Essentially under Vichai, the club continued to grow and move forwards off the pitch, which in turn lends itsrlf to success and improvement on the pitch. Under Top the club has been moving backwards off the pitch, inevitably that means that standards slip on the pitch as well. It's actually remarkable how quickly things were messed up. The groundwork under Vichai should have been stable for at least a decade. To rip it apart and put us in this position so quickly is truly impressive.

Got to fancy a win in this one, performance levels have been decent, aside from QPR. To be fair, we struggled in the away game there, people were just happy to dismiss it cus Winks scored a worldie. Convincing win needed tomorrow just to shake off any doubts, at this stage the performances are no good without the points. Tempo needs upping. -

Surprised Rooney was allowed to play for Everton when he was 16. Sky should be disgusted with themselves for showing it. There's absolutely no excuse not to make a post congratulating the u16s for making a final . They didn't do it because they're not arsed. I doubt half the people involved in running the club are even aware. -
Yeah, just weird that if he does the same thing and there's no player near him all of a sudden it's not classed as dangerous play.
