  1. Imagine rating Southgate. Imagine letting him ruin one of the most exiting squads in recent history I hope the decision makers at the FA have awful lives and have their hearts broken multiple times.
  2. Considering we dont like doing business till late August it gives us plenty of time
  3. Unfortunately the training facility means nothing when we don't hire top class coaches to go with it.
  4. Amazing how quick they are to communicate with the fans when an outside source is reminding the world how awful they are at their jobs.
  5. The club have treated the EFL with complete contempt to be fair. Poke to bear then expect it to come back.
  6. What? We literally can only sign Fatawu if we go up, he won't sign for us if we don't go up It's only the EFL that have put this embargo on us.
  7. Add to that he's going to be 32 going into next season. If he was a key player and leader than I'd be inclined to keep him around however. A 32 year old that is fairly weak when not defending in a low block isn't what we need. No matter how well he can ping the ball around. At some point - you actually do need your defenders to be able to defend. If he wants to stay in England his best bet will be to join Kompany, then we can loan him back if we get promoted and relegated. If we stay down and decide to keep him on, I'd fully expect to see posts claiming "his performance levels have really dropped off this season" When in reality it'll be because we're a lot weaker and he's having to do more defending.
  8. Didn't take us long to turn into Everton fans. Just waiting for the pink cards to come out
  9. It's more that we're going to have a lot more games next season where the opposition will be running at us and our defenders actually have to defend against competent attackers that can run and shoot (Sterling apart) It'd be tremendously short sighted to ignore evidence of him lacking at Premier League level because he's looked good at a lower level in a role where he's largely allowed to walk forward with the ball and face little pressure in games.
  10. Good couple of cards on this weekend. Probably more excited about the undercard tonight, forward to seeing the progress of Barney-Smith and Itauma tonight. Luke McCormack sounds like an exciting debutant as well. The main bout sounds like it should be a cracker although not sure I've seen either before unfortunately. Then we've got Smith v Zepeda and Harper v Ryan tomorrow night. Not had much chance to check out the undercard yet but looking forward to them.
  11. Youll quickly have no money because you're overspending on crap
  12. Well, ita like winning the lotto and buying a 2 bed terraced house for 10 million. Then going to maccies for dinner every day and insisting on paying 10k per meal
  13. It'd be classic us to get away with it on a technicality and claim ignorance, doing absolutely nothing to remedy to situation.
  14. Quite the pattern emerging... Everton - Terrible ownership that wasted money Forest - Terrible ownership that wasted money Leicester ...
  15. He'll be claiming it was a "tactical retreat" by the board
  16. Apparently signing for Man United will clear it right up
  17. Was only listening on commentary but the majority of Leamington attacks seemed to be long throws and corners. Proper Pulis ball haha Really liking the work Kingy is doing so far and excited to see what he can do over the summer with regards to bringing players in and stamping his style. Got a reputation for developing young talent so I'd expect us to be picking up young players with a view to developing them. Between him and Borrows they should have some good connections. Struggling for goals, but equally we actually look like we have a plan on the pitch and i'm not watching us spend 80 minutes launching long balls to the oppositions corner flags. Sounds like there's been a considerably raising in standards at training as well. Players need to turn up to training and it's not just turning up and having a kick about for an hour. On top of this, he speaks very well in the interviews and you can tell that there's a genuine desire to target and work on weaknesses. The effort that goes into looking at the opposition and looking to negate their strengths can't be undervalued as well. More than happy to accept us struggling with goals with all these other positives that are there to see.
  18. Nope. Forget famine, disease, poverty and Coventry fans. Seeing a man in his mid 20s settle for being a #2 is the worst!
  19. Oh do they - my apologies to Mr Rudkin for besmirching his good name! Well at least we know to avoid this chap if Rudkin gets bored of milking the king power teet.
  20. Been very impressed with him on the little I've seen. Hope he can get a move and get himself first team football somewhere. Nothing worse than seeing Keepers waste their prime years as a number 2/3.
  21. Rudkin's working wonders at Leuven as well then I see
  22. We can hope that his dad had a passionate affair with a spanish woman and there's a Mr Rudkiniesta working for a Spanish outfit
  23. What do you mean? Of course, the only logical expectation would be that we would pick up £20-25m for a player that we don't want in the starting line up of a second tier team. Especially when you add to that fact that we're likely paying him more than almost any team in europe would be willing to offer. We'll be fighting teams off come June.
  24. Mark could at least stick Mark Viduka and Ian Harte in the header. #WACCOE
