This would be worse than the Carranza signing, hundo percent. At least with Carranza there was an air of mystery, even though all evidence suggested he would be ineffective at this level. Anonio is 36 and the majority of his game when he was in his prime was simply him being an absolute beast and a nightmare for defenders. There just doesn't seem to be any logical way that he'd have that physicality to his game. Which means we basically end up with 2x Jordan Ayew.

Haha no I didnt, but from what I read he experienced very similar When he has had the ball he's looked good. Picked the right pass everytime and looks like he has bags of time. Once they begin to trust him more I assume he will see more of the ball

If he still is a standout player for one of the better teams in the league then that will tell us more than him being a standout player for Newport. Not sure there's a massive gulf between L1 and L2 aside from the extreme end of both divisions. So if he has a good 5 months there I think that's a good enough audition to be included in next years squad.
