Always expect us to get battered by Cov then they turn up, roll over and let us rub their bellies. So I don't know what to expect today. -

Youd think theres only 5 players in the world the way you people are going on Clubs selling players to bigger teams has always been a thing and always will be. Premier league clubs are in a fortunate position that if you have people who are good at their job, you have access to sign players from smaller clubs who want to move onto better things. I know we've made it look like thats not a thing, but it really is. -

Sorry Marti I tried for you. Haha all good. At least one of your worries isn't "Will it be at left back Luke Thomas or Hamza Choudhury?" -

Even if we didn't, I'd rather talk about anything else at the minute, to be fair haha. What XI are you expecting tomorrow? Will the new boys get a start? -
He reffed there last year. He's ambassador for the Asian darts in the PDC so he usually does these. Really wish PDC had got Phil Brzezinski in as the new announcer, don't rate this new guy at all. Phil's class on the euro tour

I don't know why you seem to have a mental block against us, feels like you show us way too much respect whenever we play -

Also if it depends on the fitness of Souttar then the line "not afraid to utilise the academy" doesn't really make sense to me. -

I'd agree with the above, although if the club actually budgeted 4/5 years in advance, which they should be doing if they are amortising deals over this period of time. Then they should have a plan for different scenarios. I imagine they're treating it much the same way I would do with a credit card and just spend like a lunatic and then let future me deal with the consequences. -
^^ Not to say I don't think he's made mistakes. I've found him frustrating in terms of his approach not aligning with vision he outlined in the summer. I do have a degree of empathy of the task he's been given though. I'm really not convinced another manager does all that better. And Russell Martin is still out there. Watching him stick to his boring yet somehow suicidal football with these players would be even worse than the...nothingness that seems to currently exist.

Had the manager been responsible for spending a massive wedge of cash on dossers then you'd probably have a point. Not sure he can be held responsible for having a squad of massively overpaid players, some of whom have made it clear they don't want to be at the club.

So assuming we don't go up. Our main income for next season is already spoken for. Which means we likely means sell Fatawu and Bilal. Borrow money against those, then use that cash to fund the club, alongside ticket/merch income next season? So, I'd expect we'll see a fairly heavy dose of academy players in next season's squad. -
The majority of our fans were saying Faes was an upgrade on Fofana to be fair. If they're still saying the same thing in March then that'll be a big positive

Just seen the goal, Haaland is hugging and blocking the defender in an offside position. Not really sure how anyone can argue he's not interfering? We have no idea if the defender can get there or not because he's being pinned by Haaland as the ball is coming in and can't move. Haaland is only in there on the line to block defenders off as well. Horrific defending from the Newcastle player marking Semenyo mind, it shouldn't have even got to the point where offside was discussed.

At this point I'd find it hilarious if they wanted to call in the debt in the form of sponsoring our stadium, shirts and training ground for free for x amount of years. King power literally being scrubbed from the stadium would be poetic. -

I think we passed the "untenable" stage a while a go, clearly the positions are absolutely not untenable regardless of performance haha. -

Always annoys me when I see people peddling this weird line of "i'd rather be run badly and win something than ran well and not win something" As if being ran poorly is a prerequisite for success The FA Cup win was a result of being ran well - Rodgers took the foundations laid by Puel and Macia did well on the pitch but him and Rudkin were undoing that good work within 12 months of him joining, but we still had a squad littered with talent. The league win was obviously a complete freak. We somehow managed to sign the best CM in the world and had Mahrez and Vardy putting in a world class season. Success is generally a by-product of doing well though. It's not a choice of make terrible decisions and win or make consistently good decisions and not win. -
The gaffers definitely not getting sacked if we lost to bottom of the table, never mind away to the league leaders.

Sunday afternoon written all over it, give the overseas fans a glimpse at two former Premier league teams duking it out

I feel like with 90% of our transfers or rumours, people say "at least it's not x" and then in the event we do sign that player, they turn out to be worse than or just as bad as "x"

Bollocks, course he is. Thanks for ruining the joke mate -
Literally right under that it says Mathys Tel wants to go out on loan to get regular first team football before the world cup.

I don't know why I come in this thread, it annoys me as much as watching Deal or no Deal when people are convinced they have a certain number When is the actual draw? I miss the good old days of taking my little portable radio into school on the monday to listen to the draw.
