  1. Thought he was one of the bright parts of last night, final ball let him down a few times but he looks so comfortable on the ball and I wouldn't want to train that out of him. Hopefully he gets a chance to have a run of starts and tighten some of that end product up. No real issues with his performance last night overall though.
  2. Haha I did wonder. Yeah I get it, it just seems odd to do it now and not before this game, but maybe it was done with the knowledge that there's 2 weeks to get a gaffer in place now. Literally the only thing that makes me want to keep Marti atm is that Russell Martin is still a free agent
  3. No I meant performance. Thought they comfortably outplayed and outfought us for the majority of the game after our good 25-30 min start. 4 big chances to our 1 and a higher xG would back that up as well. Serve up them stats most weeks and you'll be fine in the long run.
  4. No doubt his entourage are hoping to meet the Wrexham owners and get some selfies.
  5. Mad to sack Mason after that performance! Unless they were planning to anyway with the FA cup week coming up.
  6. Yeah that's fair, I should clarify that I think it results in the same outcomes, which is the club deteriorating. The difference is, the actions of the blackpool owner were more obviously detrimental which led to fans being in unison in wanting change. Ours will be more of a slow crawl downwards with many being blind to it till we see the full impact.
  7. The difference between Top and other bad owners is that people like the Oyston's were genuinely despicable people and almost seemed to do things on purpose to annoy fans out of spite. Same with Chansiri. Top just seems to be completely non-plussed about being an owner of a football club and well out of his depth. Both are equally bad, but I can see why some people don't get it when it's not as blatent and in your face as the Oyston's and Chansiri. Ours is probably worse because so many are blinded to it.
  8. Maybe I was wrong about fitness levels, because we looked absolutely gassed after 25 mins last night when the players clearly came out and played with some tempo and higher up the pitch. The fact we've looked gassed in so many games despite being the lowest runners in the league is insane. Fitness is literally the simplest thing to drill into your teams Marti ffs.
  9. Genuinely don't care what team we put out, it's not like we can knock our confidence as we don't have any. A win isn't going to set us up for a major run and losing isn't going to make us any worse. Would love to see some of the more promising youngsters at least make the bench for this one. @Leicesterpool why did you describe it as a "very difficult pitch"? Are you just assuming it's poor because they're fourth tier and you think it's 1995? I've just been watching some recent highlights and it looks fine.
  10. Dodged one player that will injury prone and now you boys want another striker who's passed his best and struggled to stay fit for longer than a fortnight. Come onnnnnnnn
  11. Looking at the page it seems like most of the accounts posts are rage bait haha
  12. I'd still love to see Martin in a new gig before we sack him, but at this point he's pretty hard to defend.
  13. Thought he was really good tonight, I may have missed a few things judging by the comments though. Claimed a few crosses, a few good punches. Made some good decisions when coming for long balls, especially one where he bailed out Okolie who was half asleep. The saves speak for themselves. At this stage, people are clearly looking to pick up on any tiny thing and blow it up. I get it as we're poor so you'll only pick out the negatives, but a lot of good stuff just seems to be ignored while any error of judgement is picked up on and blown massively out of proportion.
  14. I do wonder if half of our teams sprints don't actually register as sprints because they're so slow
  15. It may just top some of the others we've had this season
  16. Players clapping the 10 remaining fans
  17. It is That performance deserves derision and ridicule
  18. Mason must feel sick Some strike that. Lovely lovely paper over the cracks
  19. Just waiting for the inevitable
  20. Watching Okolie pass the ball is fascinating. Its like a toddler being taught how to do a side footed pass for the first time
