  1. Don't think I'll every tire of seeing Man U lose
  2. Manby wins v Mervyn king to land himself a tour card, I do wonder if Merv took his foot off the gas as he knew he had a card through order of merit anyway. Good to see Jimmy van Schie, Van Der Velde and Merk lock down cards as well
  3. Saw the KO this morning, very impressive. If Azim can get away from Boxxer soon, then hopefully we will see a Smith v Azim world title fight in 2027.
  4. Yes JJ! Should have kept him and played him as our striker!
  5. And another! Can't help but think the goalkeeping experts on here would be blaming Stol for both goals if they were against us
  6. Lovely goal that!
  7. Reminds me of Wayne Hennessey pretending he didn't know what a Nazi salute was Clearly the irish FA needs to be stepping up their Hitler based education for goalkeepers.
  8. G'wonnn Wrexham!
  9. Ooooft. If that is the team, I want £100 on Cheltenham
  10. They're comfortably competing at a level the club has never done before, well certainly not in my lifetime anyway. It's absolutely unbelievable what they're doing and if they continue to be a Premier league team, they'll likely get some decent cup runs as well as European football. These things are a by product of doing the right things. Us being ran like that was literally what put is in a position to have a good cup run. I'm not really sure what the argument against being well ran and competitive in the top tier is haha.
  11. Ohhh it's gonna be like when Rodgers played "kids" but basically he selected the players based on their size rather than their actual ability.
  12. Possibly, but they're doing things absolutely the correct way and maximising their chances of being sustainable and competitive. Absolute blue print on how to operate outside of the big 6 in my opinion.
  13. My post was me more about rimming Kante than disrespecting Drinkwater to be fair haha.
  14. That'll be measured up with the £80m profit they made the preceeding 2 seasons and the £65m they've made this year. Their outlay has also been on 18-23 year olds who will develop and either be first team players or sold on for profit. It works in cycles really. Sign, develop, sell. Sign, develop sell. At some point you have to make your investment and clearly that was in the 24/25 season. They'll reap the rewards again over the next couple of seasons I imagine.
  15. Swear someone could have a triple leg fracture and Marti would say "it's a small injury"
  16. To be fair I think Kante and Jason Jarret would have done the job. I don't think I'll ever see a player put 8+/10 performances in as consistently as Kante did for us. Still absolutely baffled how he hadn't been picked up by PSG before we got him.
  17. Option 3 has backfired if that's the case haha. I think he wanted to gice chances to keep the senior players onside as not to cause unrest in an already dismal dressing room. He eluded to that earlier in the season. Obviously now, certain players are being phased out who clearly aren't on board. Got to imagine Winks and Bouba will leave this window, if only on loan.
  18. Please god no. He needs gone. Man needs to go and play 5 a side or something that doesnt require much running.
  19. Was it you suggesting Southgate should get the job again Wymsey?
  20. Swap Ricardo and Skipp and you might be onto something there for league games. If you're taking out the 10 then you need 2 cms that feel comfortable in the other teams 3rd without wanting to just turn and pass it back as far as possible. I'd probably go something disgusting but almost functional like Begovic Aluko Okoli Vesty Ali (Is he still a thing?) Choudhury Page Soumare Evans Mavididi Daka
  21. Also Cooper was asking him to play basically RB and RW. Fans seem to be perplexed when he was caught up field. Ignore the fact that someone should be covering. Then it became popular to just lay any goal at his door if a cross happened to come from the right hand side
  22. Would you prefer they have the tall lads on the posts and the short lads marking the massive players?
  23. Crawley as useful as ever
  24. He must be one of the few defensive players in football, pro or amatuer that has absolutely no awareness of his surroundings.
