  1. The De Lisle's home is half the size of South Shire's 3rd holiday home
  2. Just want to confirm you're not alone in thinking this
  3. Still creating very little and potentially over confident going into this one. Going for Bristol City 2-1 with a couple of Scott Twine worldies. I'll just take effort, no suicidal passing in our own 3rd and a genuine desire to create chances.
  4. Dimmy gray with an assist and looked miserable when it went in. Never change
  5. Jealousy levels dropping...
  6. I think you tend to find yourself getting lucky more often than not when you're getting 5 or 6 in the box and getting it in there. These are dark times when Im jealous of Cov
  7. It's high enough to make 3 teams with huge budgets at this level look fairly average. It's all relative though isn't it, if you're comparing this league to mid table teams in the league above then yes, it's worse. If you're comparing it to league one, then it's better. We're not a Premier league team though, so this very clearly our level atm. Saying the league is poor is just another way of saying "i'm not ready to accept the reality of our situation" to me For a team that's spending, what? £40-45m a year on wages at this level, we should be better than the majority of teams. Obviously we know the reality is that we're vastly overpaying a lot of players that don't look better than this level though. Somewhat agree with the sentiments. Although there's it's a lot easier to put together than elite set up when you're in the Prem. If we do somehow manage to sneak up in the play offs, then the opportunity has to be taken to put together a young team with a point to prove. If we drop again then you're ideally in a position where most will stay and should be capable of bringing you back up. if we don't go up this year, it gets a lot worse before it gets better. Assuming the people running the club continue to perform at the level they've shown so far anyway. Whatever we do, the plans should be consistently looking at the next 5 years, our thinking seems to be about the next 12 months at best and just leads to awful decisions to "solve" a problem despite the quite clear consequences that will come in the future (often we don't even solve the problem). We're currently seeing where that kind of thinking lands you.
  8. Especially for a guy that should be playing for Man City
  9. Pretty convinced the Wolves players bang down a load of valium before the game.
  10. If this Andre is class, we've got to be shopping Winks and Soumare out to Wolves.
  11. Great save from Mbeumo just now. Not sure he can take much blame for the first, spread himself well enough. Looks like hes going to be a busy boy tonight
  12. Half of these Wolves players can barely control or pass the ball. Insanely poor
  13. Makes sense given the heat.
  14. Not watched a pre match for a game of footie in ages. This is reminding me why I don't usually
  15. Weird year, the draws have been pretty gash in all 3 rounds so far.
  16. Competitive is the correct word, lots of teams taking points off each other. The logic seems to be that the league is only good if 3 teams are running away with it, otherwise the league is "awful" if it's somewhat level and teams are able to take points off each other.
  17. Great performance by Van Schie in the final after going 3-0 down to the boy Mitch. Enjoyable week of darts to be fair. Now 3 more sleeps till the big one!
  18. They'll no doubt find a way to concede, but for now, g'won the Hearts!
  19. Funny thing is, if the defender goes down and fakes injury, the ref 100% gives a free kick there. There's absolutely no consistency in the application of the high foot rule and decisions are seemingly given purely based on the outcome rather than the action. Handball decision is fine, it's been the rules for a good while now that accidental handball only gets given if the person scores directly from it.
  20. Agreed, but were not gonna score 100% of our chances most games. Lovely win and I enjoyed it, but its not a "were back baby!" performance
  21. Jordan James is the boy! Anyone getting overexcited by that probably needs to chill out though
  22. Worst thing we can do this half is sit off and let them attack at will. Very decent first half, scoreline is probably exaggerated but we will learn alot from the approach to the 2nd half
  23. 4 shots 4 goals! Almost reminiscent of the 4 0 in 15 mins back in the day
