After us watching United by absolutely honking for 15 minutes we decided to be a bit braver.Still didn't really do anything even with us having the upper hand. Amorim made a few tweaks and before you know it we're under pressure for 30 minutes or so.

I think it's his only weakness, it was last season as well. Indecision and a lack of confidence when the balls crossed into the box. Schmeichel had exactly the same problem, the only reason he made so many incredible looking saves on the line was because he refused to come and deal with the ball and cut it out at source. As far as weaknesses go though, they can be easily negated by setting up your defence from set pieces so he's not isolated.

If the players weren't doing what Ruud wanted he would be dropping them. -
Not sure why Bobby Reid and Jordan Ayew are made out to be modern day Cafu and Ashley Cole on here.

Love Wellens adopting the Peason approach of managing the first half from the stands.

Great game in the A League. Sydney 3 3 WS Wanderers Atmosphere was electric and Sydney with 2 late goals to equalise

Might have to revisit my "elite mentality" opinion. He seemed well too chuffed about the performance last night Players on the floor gutted and he was going round to them all seemingly happy with how it went. That 2nd half approach wqs awful and if that's the standard he's happy with then he's not the guy for me. First half wasnt great either to be fair, but we at least played with some intent to try and score. Second half it was almost non existent -
Disgusting thing to say on a Leicester board!

I always thought that lino's had the same half both sides -
Hope they go to town on us, I want that stadium to become absolutely horrible for Top, Rudkin and Whelan.

If the lino was corrupt he'd have given BDCR offside, who I thought was 100% off on first watch till I saw the united player in the background -

I'm for goal line tech and semi automated offsides 100%. Quick decisions and minimal interruption. I'm not for a bunch of blokes overanalysing replays looking for any excuse to send a player off or disallow a goal. So yes, 100% I prefer the game to be enjoyable as a whole rather than biased self-interest. If I wanted perfection I'd just sit and watch the computer play itself on FIFA. We appoached the 2nd half like we were going to lose anyway and morale is smashed. Cost will be minimal as morale couldn't get any worse and the cup is not a money spinner for Premier league teams. -

F VAR. THis is the perfect example where people try and go "gotcha" I'd happily have last night's decision multiple times a season, the net "value" of VAR is a huuuuuge negative on the game. Correcting the odd blatent mistake doesn't make up for how much life and enjoyment it sucks out of the game. -
Line was spot on which is the frustrating thing, there could be some merit to that point. If he doesn't see any blue beyond Maguire, then should be assume it's offisde? With the sheer number of bodies I can forgive a human making that error, I didn't see it as offside from first look and I had an elevated view and was viewing from the easier side Can't remember what the free kick was given for but a fair few people have said it wasn't a free kick so I'll need to look back at that. I wasn't really arsed about the goal anyway, from the moment the ball hit BDCR in the face I didn't get excited as I was mentally expecting us to just sit in and give Man U all the time and opportunity to get back into it anyway. I don't think the manner of defeat will have surprised anyone We had 2 shots 2nd half, 0 on target. Showed almost no desire to take part in the 2nd half and got what we deserved.

Black line roughly his line of sight. 3 man u players who are blocking his view from the space behind. Red circle is where a player could be standing that he can't see. Whatever decision he made, he would have been guessing in my opinion. I'm not expecting to win any arguments on this, especially when emotions are fresh, but I'll always try and be reasonable in looking at a situation.
-
I like that you think the players were hollow, but they weren't
-
The lino had literally no chance of seeing if he was on or off due to bodies in the way. Could have done with his ref helping him out. It's not bent or fixed, he literally couldn't see as the line of sight was blocked off Still not sure why Mads hasn't claimed that, his one weakness is decision making from crosses. If your defenders are gonna stand about 30 yards from goal then the keeper should be on his 6 read to claim anything that goes close to the goal

2 awfully managed teams. Coulibaly looks like Jeff Schlupp on ice. Not sure what's happened to Winks Another 90 minutes watching Ayew do nothing. Ruud makes no changes again. Bilal looks like a player and Ndidi brought more solidity back to the team. I'd take those kind of decisions if it means no VAR ruining the game, every day of the week.
-
Still poor on 2nd and 3rd look
-
That's really poor from Mads on first look
-
Was winks on the piss before he came on?
-
Calling it now Coulibaly is awful and goes back to Italy in the summer
