  1. Canero, Maybury, Hughes, De Vries, Hammill, Douglas. Superb
  2. Money has ran football for as long as it's been a thing. Literally in the late 1800s players came down from Scotland to play for English teams for money
  3. Oh yeah players certainly get paid at this level. I heard we wanted to sign a player and he asked for £180 a game
  4. I think it's an easy decision for RVN to be fair. Doesn't strike me as the type to let emotion trump logic, at least not this early into his tenure.
  5. The lads only just turned 21 and only has to do this for a couple of years to have his family and future generations set for life. Absolute no brainer.
  6. It does raise the question of whether the transfer fees fall into fair market value, similar to what sponsorship is held to. That being said, £65m for a 21 year old that looks like an absolute goal machine does seem fair
  7. There's a whole market of kids that have grown up on social media that support players rather than football clubs.
  8. I'm estimating salary here but 3 Years earning 80k in the prem will earn him around £6.6 million 3 years earning 300k in the Saudi Prem would make him about £46 million I'd be shocked if a young lad from Columbia was on 80k as well. You'd be insane not to take that
  9. Duran has only just turned 21, that's decent to be fair. Go and make an absolute fortune for 2-3 seasons then afterwards, he's still 23/24 and can do whatever he wants.
  10. Haha DCL - that's a fair point I will be betting on Doucoure to bag at the weekend. Our midfield's inability to track and the centre backs inability to defend I expect he'll get a few decent chances. I'll hold my hands up if I'm wrong but I feel like too much false confidence will be taken from the Spurs game and we won't have learned from the lessons of the previous 7 league games. In my opinion, this is the worst type of team that Ruud's tactics and this squad could come up against.
  11. No new signings, don't see how we have anywhere enough to cause these any worries. Barely laid a glove on a very poor and out of form Spurs team. If they have a few key forward players out and Stol has a worldie, we could probably try and get out a disgusting 0-0.
  12. Are there really only 233 members? I assumed there were thousands of people with how much people go on. Oh 590 members with just under 39.5% voting.
  13. Bilal plays behind Vardy. So we want to replace our best player with Akpom?
  14. 2 loan strikers struggling to make the bench! Living the dream
  15. Brighton open to letting Ferguson go permanently. Considering he can't get in ahead of 34 year old Danny Welbeck they must not rate him that highly..
  16. This is my favourite account on this site by a mile. Unironically hilarious
  17. Good to see Kettering continuing their recent run of not playing games. At this rate you'll get to experience the delights of the Saturday, Tuesday Thursday weeks
  18. There's a reason Brighton are willing to let him go. Let's not continue to be dumb...please? PLZZZZZZZ
  19. The worst part about it all is that anyone cared about any of the things that came out. I'd love society to get to a point where all of that is just laughed off. Not sure the pressure of being a closeted gay man would make you think Klopp's a bellend or do cocaine. If it does then about about 95% of the stone island brigade have got some difficult conversations at some point in the future.
  20. Genuinely not sure if parody or real I hope it's the former.
  21. If he falls into the trap of thinking the same system and 11will work here then I foresee a long match. Everton will be well drilled, disciplined and look to hit us on the counter. I expect they'll be happy for us to have possession and then look to pounce on the mistakes as we arse around with the ball 40 yards from their goal. It's so important that the coaching staff realise just how poor Spurs are atm and not start thinking they've cracked some magic code. Despite how poor they were, they still hit the woodwork twice and Stolacyzk has made a couple of worldies. We really could do with at least 1 new starter if not 2, in by Friday. Mads and Wilf coming back will be a huge boost, when it finally happens.
  22. As with the defeats I'm not gonna go wild over this one. Lovely that we took advantage of one of the only other 2 truly terrible teams in the league atm (the other being Southampton). Can't really take a great deal away from today as Spurs are as big a basket case as us, and another day they still probably score 3 or 4. Really hope it doesn't paper over any cracks. We desperately need quality adding to this squad in the next week and I'm not convinced that this shape is the optimum if we fail to add reinforcements. For the love of god do not start another premier league game with that front 3 Ruud
  23. Red card and subsequent collapse feels inevitable
  24. Wouldnt read too much into it. This is just the 2 biggest basket cases in the league playing each other. We will both be back to playing competent teams after this
  25. The positive is that they have spurs nursery 5 a side team on the bench, so not exactly able to strengthen. If this team has any sort of spine, nows the time to show it
