Pep channeling his inner Pulis, playing 4 CBS

Accidental handball only becomes relevant if the scorer handballs it (obviously in the phase where they score the goal, not 10 minutes earlier )

Thought they'd knocked the idea of summer tourneys on the head cus of the heat. That being said, as someone said, we probably don't have to worry about him qualifying or going very far if they do manage it
-
Most important question is do we get to lose him for 6 weeks every other christmas?

I was going for the mis-spelling/pronunciation of touché

I'm not exactly a raging gammon that thinks everything is too woke. In this scenario, if I purposefully take a penalty despite there being better takers on the pitch. If I miss, I'm holding my hands up, saying the gaffer is right and apologising to the fans. The way he's reacted to this, suggests to me that his tolerance for criticism is fairly low. I'd be interested to hear what the other things are, you'd think this is the worst if it's what he wants to go public and cry about. He's not questioned Lookman's character or assassinated his performance, he's called out a bad decision that has ultimately contributed to the team losing. Surely there's room for a little bit of backbone in the game still.

The PR team thinking outside the box with this one, fair play

The statement read: “It saddens me on a day like this to have to write this statement – Most of all because of what we have achieved together as a team and as a city. “Being singled out in the manner I have been not only hurts but feels deeply disrespectful, not least because of the immense hard work and commitment I have always put in each and every day to help bring success to this club and the incredible fans of Bergamo. “In truth, I have dealt with many difficult moments during my time here – the majority of which I have never spoken about because in my opinion the team must always be protected and must come first. This makes what happened last night even more hurtful. christ almighty lad, he said you're gash at penalties. Grow up man.

Please don't mention winning a pre season friendly v Man City reserves as an achievement.

So that'd make Ruud the liar then - 9th Jan 2025. “We’re in the middle of the process,” the Leicester boss said on January signings. “It’s clear where we want to strengthen. We’re working on that day and night. I feel a strong responsibility to get the right players in." “It’s a delicate process. It takes time. It requires a lot of effort and work to bring in the right players. “We’ve been creating a style of play and players who fit into that are the profiles who can get us to better results. “Those are the profiles we have been talking about with recruitment and the people responsible for signing these players. It started in December and hopefully we can present something soon.” “It’s important because of the situation we’re in. It demands we have to do better. It’s development of the current players and if there are players who fit in the picture, and can make the club better in the long term, then we have to do it.”

Love to see it!

Not gonna argue with an opinion. If you believe that then fair enough

I can only assume you watch absolute no football at all outside of Leicester games? Tomiyasu aside (Timber and White both been chosen ahead of him anyway) who do you think was missing from the first team that would ordinarily play? They're missing their first choice front 3 and their first choice back up striker. Their back up front 3 was Trossard, Nwaneri and Sterling. 2 of which would walk into most teams in the league and to be fair, 1 who is an absolute clown.

Bilal and Abdul as well probably. It's a tough one because Cooper was quote so so so soooo many times that he wanted "Premier league experience" so when we sign players that fit exactly what he's asked for then it's hard not to attribute those signings to him. This isn't in defence of Glover, his last 3 jobs have all been with clubs that have struggled during his time there. So he's either not too great at getting his own way or he's not very good at identifying talent for the club to sign. -
He's probably got the tools to be an effective league two or league one player. Having a purple patch for one of the most dominant teams in the championship doesn't make him a championship player though. Need to see far more evidence before I'm convinced he'd be anymore than a solid workhorse that's willing to do a job for the team above league one level.

I did wonder if he'd credit you at all after seeing it -
I'd bet a penny to a pound that alcohol is the much bigger cause of people running onto the pitch than cocaine ever will be. Or would I bet a pound to a penny? Whichever one is correct

VK had 5 tackles and 8 crosses last week. Justin had 1 tackle and 0 crosses. It's gonna click at some point why our full back that is attacking the most seemingly gets "caught out". Like the full back is choosing to do that and it's not a part of the tactics.

These are the complete opposite of us, I expect they'll make it look far more comfortable than Arsenal managed due to us being a bit braver but using the same system with the same flaws.
-
If he's being blamed for the first then surely Woyo gets the blame for the second?

Imagine going from Carrick's brand of football to Cooper's...nobody could be that foolish
