I think things are probably coming to their natural conclusion for Howe and Newcastle. He doesn’t want to work with DOF’s, he doesn’t manage the squad well enough (they’re all ****ing done in from Feb onwards) and the more recent players he’s actively asked for haven’t pulled up any trees. Id imagine a season without a substantial cup run, out of Europe and potentially not finishing top 8 might finish him off.

A lot of Scotland fans seemingly annoyed at the Dundee vibes unless you're from there

Wolves improved as soon as they re-hired Rui Silva. But Edwards has a lot of media love so not surprised to see this sort of article.

Or isn't allowed to? This is a manager who played different formations in 20 of his 50 Oxford United games, even if 4-3-2-1 was the highest. He also played a 3 or 5 at the back for the entirety of the 20/21 and 21/22 season at Millwall and the majority of the 19/20 season before that

The only takeaway from that West Brom survey should be an email that went out to between 10000-15000 people received only 1200 responses.

It'll go down to the last game and we are FAMOUSLY good at last day survival battles.

Jamaal Lascelles joins on deal until end of season - Official

Was a bit sketchy on the details wasn't it, which make me think even more its a play to earn a deal situation. -

I'll go full cynical. He's made 3 appearances. In two more games time the max he will be able to make is 9. Wouldn't be surprised if he's back making appearances from Sheff Weds onwards Sneaky suspicion he has a "10 appearances for a 1 year contract" clause? I think if we'd picked up after the first few games we'd have gone for it because the likelihood of being in the championship next season would have been higher. Or on the other hand we'd have never seen him again after 9 games. I know he was loaned to us but the deal is essentially a short term free transfer where he's trying to earn a perm contract. -
If anyone would like to go and see why getting into bed with Macquarie is always a bad idea. I'd suggest hopping on to X and seeing why they're trending and why the UK is about to lose its longest standing and most well known Car Park operator NCP. They were the owner before the current owner, same as what they did to Thames water

The problem is one of the four Macquarie payments above were secured against expected 27/28 Prem money or 26/27 parachute money. If we're in League One next season, we wont get 26/27 parachute money. And it would also become impossible for us to be in the Premier League in 27/28 So they now become payable via assets, or like you say a renegotiation (but you'd argue a renegotiation against what) Likely the transfers of BEK, Fatawu and anyone else we can get a few quid for would go straight to Macquarie to service the expected 26/27 parachute money of around 30-40m quid.

Of the 14 charges, naturally a lot is redacted, but here's a run down. - 1 is a mortgage, given when it was taken out I assume it's on the stadium and was meant for the expansion. That's now 5 years old, and given we haven't just invested it and paid it back when we realised there would be no expansion, i'd assume we've spent that on day to day finances. My only hope or all hopes with that is that we've not spent it, it's in a holding account and it could be used to service some of the other debt that we wont be able to repay in the expected way (TV loans) - 1 debenture, which is a security of all our debts with Macquarie against our assets (that was in 2024) - 4 secured against TV money/Expected TV money/Parachute payments (the BAD) - 8 player transfers (these are mostly fine tbh as they'll all pay out unless one of the buying teams goes pop)
-
For clarity we have 14 outstanding charges with Macquarie Ranging between 2021 and January 2026. The oldest is a mortgage of some sort, a lot of redacted detail in that one. The latest was next seasons parachute payment. All viewable here LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED charges - Find and update company information - GOV.UK

Well.... yeah..... that's the point. Make their stupid initiative look stupid.

"Honesty Flags" would have made a great protest campaign. Just a load of fans turning up with flags that had their true feelings on

We need more of her energy around the place mate, when she joined in the summer creativity picked up massively, but it's clearly been managed out of her by the under-qualified lifers in management, on the main channels especially (X and META channels). We need more life and energy throughout the club, particularly in marketing.

Well played

It’s quite incredible how quickly they got the new person to drop the creativity and just revert to the norm 🥲
-
They could do with a goalkeeper who can use either their hands or feet ideally. Maybe they can bring Austin on.

Enjoying the Chumbawumba tribute they’ve posted this morning
