Yeah you couldn’t be more wrong, it belongs to MacQuarie and we’ve been spending it this year. Furthermore we have other loans with them secured against expected premier league tv/parachute payments. When they come up (27/28 I think) and we’re not in the prem and not receiving parachute money. We either pay them (huge loan amount/high interest) or they’re secured against assets if no longer collectible against the initial security (tv money/parachute)

I actually think Prutton was the worst part. If you’re going to let two amateurs commentate surely pare them with an actual lead commentator not the presenter
-
This commentary thing might be the worst thing Sky have ever done

Not sure i'd be too hung up on a team we've only played 6 times in the last 11 years and scored 11 goals against in two of those fixtures
-
Not saying they publicised it. But it definitely happened as i'm not a member this year but have a health booking history and I could book.
-
Ipswich went on Gen Sale (booking history). Wonder if new commercial director is looking for some quick wins to make money/get fans on side. Watford sold out before it had a chance but it'll be interesting to see if they repeat it for any of the other remaining fixtures
-
They've got what they wanted out of it even if it isn't true. Their social media engagement figures that they will quote commercial partners next season will look much higher than the rest of the league

It is a bit mental that pundits one week are like "this spurs team are weak and pandered to and have no backbone" Then the next it's "how could he do that.... why didn't you shake his hand you horrible man"

Quality defending Jordan!

We’re currently trending on X for reactions to this starting XI

What on earth has Mukasa done wrong? Single handedly made us better in Rowetts first few
-
That’s a hate crime
-
We were more or less 4-4-2 in his first game. Probably slightly more 4-5-1 the majority of the game when defending. In reality it doesn't look much different to our usual set up as it's the same players just Mukasa sits closer to Daka and the wingers drop back slightly to support the defence. The midfield being closer together rather than a very deep lying Skipp and a more pushed forward winks (hopefully JJ) is probably the only other difference.

Is that our former Goalkeeper in charge of Newcastle? -
There's just not a hope in hell that happens is there I'm more concerned about the fact a lot of kit based decisions will have had to be be made with a CD or CEO in place. We could see massive delays in the summer as, if we were staying with Adidas, the kits would have been signed off by Feb latest. That's why i'm leaning towards the new CD tapping into what he already knows with a Levy group model, as that will suit lastminute.com

Yes. With the new Commercial Director on board I have a feeling we might go down the 'own label' route like Wolves did. I'll do a LONG read on this another time but essentially.... Levy Group (hospitality, catering, retail) set up a sports clothing division.... then Wolves created a white label brand out of this Levy offshoot and even invested in this new company (hmmmm)..... This was all at the same time Levy hired an ex wolves exec to run all this (hmmmm squared). Basically meant to keep costs down to make the most money from kits. Also strikes me as another way to funnel a sponsorship 'deal' into a clubs accounts for FFP purposes. I imagine the new commercial director is annoyed we've just signed a new catering partner as we might have gone "full levy"

I keep thinking this. Yes they've spent again but they bought a very mid/low end Champ side. Perfect storm there I think. I keep being shocked by Phil Parkinson but at the end of the day he's had success at 5 out of the 7 clubs he's managed, and counting his time at bat shit Sunderland feels harsh (40% win record to be fair).
-
I think that was most likely Burnley sounding him out. Given Spurs went with Tudor I wouldn't be surprised if they'd spoke to him too given they don't seem to care about style of play right now.
-
I think Skipp could do with a game off to be honest, or more likely 60/70 mins off. I can't see him dropping Winks, think he's another manager who likes him.
-
I think you only have to watch added time against Ipswich to see the difference. Whether it will be enough is another thing entirely. If we're still conceding a goal a game then we need this lot to find two from somewhere which is asking a lot He's doing absolutely all he can with what he has. We still have no striker and he's been without a fully fit, starting JJ too. I think Mukasa and JJ start tomorrow and i'm looking forward to seeing what that could potentially lead to.

Lad who got sent off for them today has been one of their best players this season. Small wins….
