  1. Absolutely - he doesn’t seem to be a natural fit at all into the formations Cooper favoured at Forest. Get £40m pure profit and one or two of Chelsea’s squad we can pay off over 4/5 years that would fit the new style of play better and it’s a pretty good bit of business - as long as it can be done quickly.
  2. Faes doing his best to look like a competition winner this evening 🤦‍♂️
  3. Decent Forest fans are fans of his. Was hamstrung by bat shit crazy recruitment and an owner who spent hours a week swearing at people across different levels of the club. They had a rancid set of away fixtures early last season that didn’t help him. He’s gone away from Forest and forensically analysed his decisions and mistakes and is open to learning and adjusting. Far cry from one plan Enzo. Decent guy, great man manager, hasn’t actually failed at any job he’s had in coaching. Will have us paying pragmatically. Get behind the guy for ****s sake
  4. Fecking state of people when all they’ve got to offer is criticism of someone’s appearance. **** all to do with how effective they’ll be in their job. Might be an age thing but the percentage of moronic ***** in our fan base / population at large seems to be growing year in year out.
  5. Forest supporting mate, who is sensible, is very positive about Cooper, they had a horrid run of fixtures at the start of last season, and he’s adaptable, will integrate younger players well and very good man manager and coach. It is what it is. Back him.
  6. Who do we get into the betting charts next? Frank de Boer I reckon.
  7. Cooper kept Forest up ahead of us, despite having to integrate a stupid number of players into his squad in the summer and January. He didn’t have a great start to the season but they were clear of relegation when he was fired. He is a very well respected coach, has proved able to integrate young players into the team and has both played some decent stuff whilst also finding ways to grind out results. Given the shit show behind the scenes at our club, the financial catastrophe we are in and the need to create a real siege mentality I don’t know how people are so dead against this appointment or think we are somehow going to appoint some of the names being thrown about.
  8. Too easy for Patel and Madsen. Cox has had an absolute mare there
  9. Be lucky to see our overs out 🤦‍♂️
  10. It arguably wasn’t a thin squad though, just Enzo stuck to the same 13 or 14 players no matter what for games on end with the same players on the bench getting no minutes, then wouldn’t bring them in when we were on our bad run ‘as they hadn’t had enough minutes’ - Nelson, Souttar, Doyle, Praet, Yunus, Albrighton, Kel, Cannon, McAteer, Marcal could all have played a good number more minutes than they did even with the injuries many of them had.
  11. Throwing wickets away here
  12. Flew out of Luton yesterday
  13. Just about to lose our manager and the Owner’s plane is airborne heading from Luton to Bangkok. Nothing to see here, Rudkin at the wheel. Bunch of 🤡
  14. This would be a cracking appointment… Shame our board appear to delegate their shortlisting to one agent rather than use actual footballing knowledge and understanding.
  15. Seemingly absolutely guaranteed his job. Crazy
  16. Wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with someone not on that list at all. No idea who tho
  17. Got to applaud Ipswich - really got something good going on there, I wouldn’t bet against them staying up.
  18. Hopefully we are digging in for decent compo for Caballero and his crew
  19. I reckon they’ll try for Potter but he’s turned bigger jobs than this down, quite possibly been tipped off by the FA about England job being his for the taking. Don’t think Moyes would feature in owners thinking but he may fancy 6 months off anyway… Unless he fancies coming in with Heitinga for a year and then passing it on. After this you would think it’s finishing in championship circles so depending what happens to McKenna, could be a shortlist of Rob Edwards, Corberan or Robins. If we don’t go for a manager who can grind us out a 17th place finish we are going to need someone who’s going to stick around and remould a young squad around Nelson, Braybrooke, Briggs etc if we do come down next season.
  20. Yep the two games that did it we were arguably well outplayed by WBA and Southampton without Downes are weak as piss through midfield. Genuinely no idea what Chelsea are thinking here.
  21. Maresca joined mid June so the clowns have got around 3 weeks to get someone in to be on a par with last season’s prep time
  22. Rudkin needs to pull a rabbit out a hat here to avoid those nice songs about him at the Blackburn game getting louder and louder heading into next season.
