  1. His press conference will be a laugh a minute. Bingo card here -: We need more help for the players that are here -: We will have to continue to play players out of position -: The players know they need help -: we don’t have enough depth -: We’ll have to go with what we’ve got -: We’ll need the fans on board with us -: I don’t really know what’s going on about new signings -: I hope we’ll be able to get something done soon -: Spurs are a really good side and Ange is a great manager -: We’ll do our best to be on the front foot
  2. The saddest thing is the face saving, self protection-based culture which is clearly endemic within the leadership of the club. Organisations all have times of stress and challenge and success is often defined by how you lead through them. What’s pretty much a matter of fact is we’ve been brought to our knees financially by a number of terrible decisions, in player acquisition, salary and contract extension, maybe through complacency, maybe incompetence, likely a mixture. Not helped by some very bad decisions impacting supporters. So come out and acknowledge it. Own the mistakes, tell the fans you are deeply sorry and accountable for the failings. Change some of the people involved. Admit that in order to make sure that there’s no threat of punitive action by EPL and EFL in future this 12 months is going to be brutal. We won’t be able to give the manager the squad depth they probably need. Take responsibility for that but then make some inroads to repairing the fractured relationship with supporters. Not warm lager twice a year, but meaningful initiatives to get new supporters in and reward loyalty of others - not £10 for a piss poor friendly. Come out and call out that we need a siege mentality, we need to make things horrible for opposition teams, direct complaints and frustrations at the ownership and the directors not at the manager of players. Again, own the failure. We get none of this from Rudkin, Whelan or Top, just free tickets for influencers and a social media strategy up there with the worst I’ve ever seen. No wonder people are completely deflated
  3. Probably before we get a decent player in.
  4. We haven’t got any 😬
  5. Groundhog Day. Sooner the pricks running the football operations at the club move on the better.
  6. Yep that’s the summer window comparison there. Absolute shitshow which pretty much led to 5 years of shite. History repeating itself.
  7. Bound to be an away draw at a lower league club and we’ll get our arses handed to us. Yay. Would say it’ll be another sign we need to strengthen the squad but will make **** all difference.
  8. True, but worse now. At least in that summer we strengthened the squad and whilst it wasn’t great we were competitive at times, with a couple of brilliant night (Leeds at home for example) - so far this summer we are significantly weaker than what we came up with. We barely have 20 senior outfield professionals. Squad depth horrific.
  9. Agree and you just know a total in the hundreds of thousands of page refreshes across everyone on the forum today will result in the square root of **** all happening.
  10. That’s ok, we’ve got real depth and quality on the bench….. oh. Erm. Can we get it postponed maybe?
  11. Cooper clearly doesn’t want Cannon anywhere near his team so if it’s a case of bringing Ayew in and Cannon out on loan then I could see a little bit of sense in this. BUT only alongside 3 or 4 other more dynamic, exciting additions to the squad. If this is a flagship signing yeh we might as well just chuck in the towel and play Amani Richards to give the lad some senior football.
  12. **** sake from Hlozek to Ayew. Nearly as tragic a downgrade as Schmeichel to Ward
  13. Nope. Vanished off the face of the earth this last 2 weeks. Loan to somebody like Watford incoming perhaps
  14. Must be bollocks, with a fairly minor injury list we couldn’t fill the bench with senior pros yesterday..
  15. Yep can see that happening. Earlier in the summer Ipswich put in a bid, told it had to be at at least €30m to enter a conversation, thrift merchant Rudders goes in with €27m, not accepted, then other teams pile in, player’s head turned by better option, ends up moving for about €28m. Rudkin and Top left scratching heads like Laurel and Hardy. One year deal done for free agent striker who was released by some Belgian club or other end of August. Genius 👊
  16. Hope they’ve got an alternative lined up for when Bournemouth come in and blow us out the water for him 😬🤦‍♂️
  17. Even in Coopers interview today, ‘he’s one the club identified’ on the Brighton lad. Cooper either distancing himself which is shocking or pointing out he doesn’t really know who’s coming in which is potentially even worse. Absolute shower of shit
  18. That was brutal on Cannon today. Why even bother putting him on the bench. Was genuinely optimistic about Cooper but jeez that’s been proven wildly wrong
  19. It’s a disgrace. The board being accountable to themselves means that there’s no way to challenge this bullshit either. Meanwhile 80% of the fan base applauding along, nothing to see here. We’ve had a real opportunity to shift the level of the club. Vichai was well on course, what’s happened since is an abomination.
  20. Think the Turdkin out chants will start before Cooper out. Likely during the 2nd half v Spurs
  21. Agree, the Rudkin out chants were starting to gather pace while Enzo was still here. A shite week with no decent arrivals and a shite first half v spurs and I’d like to hope the chants come back with steroids.
  22. Would appear the team manager appears to have no clue what the director of football is up to, which is absolutely unforgivable. Need to be 100% aligned. The mismanagement of the club is contributing to the demise of every aspect of LCFC. Sooner they are all gone the better. Incompetent and inept.
  23. We’ve defended ok, but we’ve had to as the attempts to play out of defence have been utterly horrendous throughout, winks and hamza statuesque and nobody else ahead of them has the slightest clue what to do. Inept.
  24. Indeed - He’s got Ricardo, Mavididi, McAteer and even Alves stuck on the bench who would be better goal threats than having both Ndidi and Choudhury playing.
