Who do you want for next season in the PL
Cropwellfox replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Mate is a posh fan. Said he played as a 10 for them and can’t believe how many goals he’s got, reckoned never looked like he had that in him. -
These playoffs are going to be an amazing watch. Thank **** it’s not us.
-
Yeh whoever did the playlist hasn’t really got much about them 🤣 didn’t see him on the pitch so was probably Turdkin on the decks 🎧
-
In the 1884 - everyone saying pretty much ‘not drinking any of that Chang shite’ 🤣
-
Enzo’s a clever operator for sure. No chance he joined having done no due diligence. Very deliberate timing of his comments and his mate’s article, designed to either get his way or give him an easy out of the club. Enjoy tomorrow then buckle in, the summer is going to be quite the rollercoaster

He’ll have his very own VAR following him around
-
Shite game! Both teams looking average at best.

Next Seasons Squad - Can we now talk about it?

Will be using the loan market just as much as perm signings you’d think - would think Mcatee pretty certain arrival on loan. Sensi on a free. He might like the look of Zach Booth back from Holland with a years football over there. -

The guy is an absolute tool, sour faced ****. Probably only smiles when he gets his payslip each month with how much we are paying the clown. Top’s loyalty to his inner circle is his big weakness unfortunately, Rudkin beyond lucky to be drawing a wage from us still. Hopefully that will resolve itself soon.

Southampton (H) - Tue 23/04/24 - 20:00 KO

No Downes for them. Manning on bench. -
Jumped over the first four, turned back to fence two, then three, then two, then back to one, to four and back, then eventually to six, at which point there was a burst of pace towards the line until unfortunately 10 meters out he veered off course and ended up in the grandstand.

He never wrote a word of that, probably had final sign off after one of his higher-ups edited the comms director’s first draft. Just the same old were in this together tripe that most CEOs across any organisation trot out when things go to shit. Actions speak louder than words Top and those accountable for our omnishambles of a financial situation remain unscathed and earning a fortune. Deal with that and you grow in esteem far more than this predictable story.

Mads Riccy Coady Vestergaard Doyle Winks KDH Yunus Mavididi Cannon McAteer subs Stolarczyk, JJ, Nelson, Ndidi Praet, Iheanacho, Vards, Albrighton, Fatawu lots of negativity about McAteer but when we were winning games earlier in the season he was in the team most weeks, can’t do worse than Fatawu has this last month. Bin off Faes and Daka completely, waste of space both of them.

If we lose our next two, there’s a chance we go into the Preston away game as follows-: Leeds 44 - 90pts Saints 44 - 90pts Ipswich 43 - 89pts Leicester 44 - 88pts Leeds and Saints against teams not quite safe, Ipswich against a team potentially still in play off contention. Unbelievable for the neutral watching this play out.

Shame you’re not as good at sticking to your word than your moronic idea Enzo - there’s a lot more than doubt about your idea - you’re a busted flush. Off you pop lad, after all you promised you would.

It’s going to be utterly brutal when we stay down in the championship. Fire sale of all fire sales needs to happen in the summer to avoid a cycle of 2 or 3 years of points deductions by the EFL who will be absolutely out to ruin us after we’ve exposed them twice as clueless. Problem is there’s no chance of us selling some of the players we need to sell most of all because of their book value. We’ll need to try to cash in on KDH and Iversen as quickly as we can, than onto Ricardo, JJ, Hermansen and Faes we could probably achieve some sort of book profit on. We might get just enough for Winks to not make a PSR loss and get his wages out the door too. Just really hope nobody comes in for Nelson as we wouldn’t be able to turn down pure profit for him. Daka, Soumaré, Kristiensen, Coady, best we can hope for is a loan out the club early in the window. Try and get Ward off to Wrexham too Every player out of contract will need to be out the door bar Thomas who we’ll take the option up on and hopefully realise a profit at some point in the next 12 months. At least we won’t be saddled with the fees for Yunus or Fatawu. All this will see us under the 24 player squad that EFL rules stage we need so then it’ll be acquiring free transfers and kids on loan or released by prem top 6 Most important of all, Enzo needs to walk away as soon as the season is done so we can get a manager in who can achieve more with less - got to say someone like Steve Cooper would be the guy if he’s not been snapped up by then given he’s going to have to work with a load of young players and the next two years are going to be anything other than easy. could see team starting next season look something a bit like this. Stolarcyzk, Loan RB, Nelson Souttar, Thomas, Braybrooke, Loan CM, Mavididi, Alves, RW, Cannon.
-
FFS Daka again.
-
Agree - but Enzo so fixed on his approach that Choudhury is the only other player who he’ll put in as inverted fullback barring injury to both him and Ricardo, and he won’t play a formation without one.

This mob are the absolute definition of complacency - we could all see a massive fall off was happening 18 months ago, yet they still admit to budgeting in accordance with being towards the top third of the premier league table for last season. Staggering incompetence on display and the narrative accompanying the report prepared by Whelan’s spin doctors is disgusting in its arrogance. They also know we can’t protest on a large scale basis in the ground without them coming out and blaming fans for not supporting the team when needed. Rudkin, Whelan, and by failing to act Top have mismanaged OUR club to a level arguably never seen before given the amount of revenue we make. Utter shame on them. The supporters - and club staff who earn a fraction of this load of incompetent leaders - will feel the effects of their contempt for common sense and the rules they agreed to for years and years to come. Rotten to the core, Leicester City Football Club’s leadership.

Would snap your hand off for 2nd right now. Hugely important to avoiding absolute financial armageddon which will hurt us for years and years to come. From the outside in I imagine we come over as the worst entitled supporters going, but from the outside perspective you don’t see the slow slow horrow show playing out and quite what we’ve managed to piss away.
-
Would think any changes will be limited to Ricardo for Choudhury, Doyle for Justin (making defence even slower) and Daka for Vardy.
