I’m not arguing for or against him, simply making the point that quite clearly:
-
Either way that is the strategy of the powers that be. @whoareyaaa For the record: Enzo joined: 16th June. Coady signed: 1st July. Cannon signed: 1st September. Circa £14 - £16m pointlessly spent by the club.
-
Enzo was never going to be here. He left. Besides as I made the point which you replied to yesterday we signed Coady and Cannon under Enzo, 2 players that I’m saying quite confidently were signed over his head and he wasn’t having.
-
@whoareyaaa (I forgot to quote the post.) You’ve missed the point. Cooper or not it’s more than likely we’d still have signed Ayew, BDCR and be looking at Dawson.
-
Bloody Cooper signing all these over 30’s!!!! ….oh wait….
-
Stay Humble.
-
These are gonna have some fun against us!

I've embracing it. It's ****ing excellent! These things used to be ridiculed, now they're applauded. Meh, so be it.
-
Lovely stuff. Excellent. Keep it going!

Simple isn't it. Few home truths might have to be told, it might upset a few (On and off the pitch) but back to basics and just be hard to bloody beat. I made the comments a few months ago - they're supposedly professional flaming footballers but they literally need spoon-feeding. Basics. Football's a simple game. Then the geeks came along. May have yeah, but it yeilded less goals. Perma-predictions of hammerings every week under Cooper and we didn't have hammering, since he went we've had 4. "BuT wE'vE bEeN wItHoUt MaDs, He SaVed CoOpEr FrOm HaMmErInGs!" 2.5 of them came while Mads was in goal. Luck or not, facts and stats say we we're also scoring more before. Indeed. It doesn't hurt because it's Forest that are being successful doing it, it hurts because that used to be us. Following on from the comment above. We did, we used to, until fairly recent but instead it was ripped up and the remit changed to what we have become. Name and style proceeds substance and success. Indeed. Like so many others. Pathetic. -
Tbf its the same on and off the pitch. But that's what football has become. Brainwashed.
-
Hard to disagree but I think there difference is 2022/23 they were decent players (When they want it - You can still see even at their new clubs they go missing), they had the quality and skill, getting us relegated whilst they were engineering moves, moves to clubs participating in European competition, these lot don't possess any off that, but they're equally just half arsed. Unacceptable.
-
Summed up when I spoke a match going fan at work about unrest at the Fulham game and he simply replied "What for? What about?" Astounded.
-
Oooft, saw the Forest score earlier but more to the point, just seen the stats. Everyone loves the stats. To coin a Mourinho quote, If I speak i'm in big trouble.

Players signed: Don't we? For sure? I'll make a point I made in this very thread only a few weeks ago. Infact i'll quote it. 05/01/2025 "Why was Coady and Cannon bought then not played when Enzo was here? A waste of £14m. (I genuinely don't see Enzo 'having' those 2 and believe very much they were signed over his head) Why was Souttar, Kristiansen, Daka, Soumare, Vestergaard, Bertrand (Free, but wages..) bought and not played when Rodgers was here? A waste of around £87m. Now this is no defence of Cooper, it's simply making the comparisons and points, neither am I going to sit here and say Cooper was no part of it (I'd be a hypocrite and contradicting myself I did) because when people claim "Rodgers wasn't backed" I like to point out he was backed, very much so, to the tune of £200m, buying shite, leaving us in the mess we're currently in, of course he had a part in it but like Cooper cannot be solely blamed. Meanwhile, as I pointed out yesterday, RVN hasn't brought or been allowed his own staff, so by that metric we're still left with the same staff, same scouts, same moneymen that recruited under Cooper. Yippee!" When was the last time a manager actually signed and hand picked players here? -

I mean my personal pick would have been Corberan in the summer however with the beauty of hindsight did you see how many draws and the lack of goals scored under him at WBA? Given people bemoaned Cooper and now RVN about lack of creation, lack of SOT, lack of goals i'm not sure Corberan would have been any more suitable or appease those issues. I'll caveat that and reiterate once again by saying I don't think it matters who manages us, these players and this club are unmanageable in it's current state. -
Pretty amazing and impressive (for the wrong reasons) how they keep outdoing themselves. Rightly or wrongly, I mean I think this is pretty bad, I didn't think we'd see a team, a group of players or club more unlikeable that 2022/23 but here we are, but I find it pretty impossible to believe week on week it's "The worst half i've ever seen", "The worst game i've ever seen", "The worst team ever", e.t.c. The superlatives are wild. Firstly it was all the games under Cooper. Then against Brentford. Then against Newcastle. Wolves...Palace....You're getting the picture right?.....Fulham.....Everton today..... Hyperbole much? Then when we win one last week all of a sudden we're going to kick on and be alright, I mean make your minds up.

"But Mads kept Cooper in a job with worldie saves" -
Bloody hell Villa..
-
But didn't we play well against Man City and Liverpool...
-
Whats the point? This club and these players in it's current state is unmanageable. Nothing changes by sacking the manager in this situation.
