Oh well. Keep papering over those cracks. Just like he did with us. Death by a thousand cuts.

Soccer Saturday* were saying they were "too predictable and easy to play against", now where have I seen that before.... *Not the greatest or most reliable source of information given their panel but it all adds up and makes sense given what we've heard and seen before.
-
People who keep saying our bench isn't good enough, you have a point they're 'not better than our starting 11' granted but our bench is still strong, amongst some of the better players in the league and those players would walk into most other teams starting 11. Whilst I agree they're not better than the starting 11 when individuals in the starting 11 are tiring or 'not at it' there should be no excuses for not using the squad. If (I'll say If, just for devils advocate) we get promoted then yes, the bench (And lets be brutally honest, the starting 11) will not be good enough, but in the here and now, it's more than adequate, an embarrassment of riches.

Feel I need to put a disclaimer in that this isn't me saying 'told you so', as i've said a couple of times last night's game was the most exciting and enjoyable game of the season, if not in years imo until the last 15 minutes and I take no pleasure whatsoever in having to discuss late goals again but here we are, its a massive elephant in the room, needs discussing, needs noting and needs fixing asap.
-
In essence yes, it’s that elusive balance inbetween.
-
Not sure where my heads at after last night. I really fucking enjoyed last night, it was one of the best games we’ve played this season…infact I’d say it was the most enjoyable and best games we’ve played in years!* *That was until the last 15 minutes.
-
We won't bottle it as such but its frustrating as hell how no matter what manager or team we crumble, collapse, capitulate in the way we do.
-
I'd have hooked him sooner personally. And i'd go further than that, I'd drop him for a game or two.
-
What I will say is what I said before the game. "I (We're) shitting ourselves ahead of playing Leeds, and we want to play in the Premier League?!"* *As bang average as I think the Premier League is.
-
I've had criticisms on Enzo at times but no blame pointed at him tonight. That's on the players for capitulating. Maybe the club. Generally I feel the club is cursed at times.
-
Firstly I wanna say even at the 70 minute mark when we still looked composed I was planning to post this, Secondly Pawson isn't the reason we lost tonight but: I've generally not had a single problem with EFL officiating this season. In the last 2 games we've had "Premier League" officials and they've been the worst we've had all season.
-
For the record we'll still go up. But I've gotta disagree (that fine, differing opinions are allowed) with @BSLBPod rant on the last pod, whilst I fully understand where he was coming from the 10 minute capitulation was something we expect (and receive) from Leicester City and they duly delivered. I take no joy from saying that. Fuming.
-
Really and I mean fucking really enjoyed that game. That was until like as every Leicester City side capitulated in the last 10 minutes.

I can't really remember the season Derby went down on the record low total but I look at some teams in the Premier League and wonder how was it possible for Derby to be so bad, how bad were they! I mean no-ones ever gonna get close to doing worse than Derby and there are some seriously stinking teams.

He’s changed his tune. He’s an elite manager Chris, you’re lucky to have him!
-
Was quite bouyed, exciting and refreshed when he bought Cannon on yesterday. 2 strikers on the pitch when chasing a game!! Something different! ....Then he proceeded to play him on the wing!

Listening to a West Ham (And Spurs) fan on Talksport and so much resonates with me from our time in recent years in the Premier League. The presenters kept pointing out "they were in Europe", they'd "made Europe in previous years", "they were 6th a few weeks ago", "they are 8th at the moment". The West Ham fan was pointing out they should be no where near any of those things and that the Premier League is bang average, I couldn't agree with him more - And felt very much the same when we were in the Premier League, even when we were challenging for European places, even when we were challenging for top 4 I felt it, certainly come the turn of the year the twice we were challenging.
-
Worst officials of the season. I’m right in saying the referee is a Premier League referee aren’t I? Says alot.
-
Rightly or wrongly it was better when we were throwing the kitchen sink at them late on in the game. That speaks volumes. As has been discussed in this thread in the last week that isn’t exclusive to us either.
-
Total football looks poor when you’re chasing a game. Ironically when we lost to Middlesbrough earlier in the season I posed the question “whatever happened to throwing the kitchen sink at a team?!”, I felt we did change today, we did throw the kitchen sink at them (this time) in the last 15 minutes, just a shame we left it too late though.
-
It’s not happened often this season but we look poor when we go 1 down and chasing a game. That said they were the better team. The players looked tired today. The last 15 minutes were exciting. I’ll leave it at that.
-
Neville ripping in Chelsea for playing all possession with no intent. He obviously hadn't seen/covered us for the 2 previous seasons. People/media need to start seeing it for what it is and calling it out, it's as negative as sitting 11 mean behind the ball.
-
I've had alot on this weekend which has put things into perspective, but i'm not sure what's wrong my thinking - normally i'd be going shit crazy about the goal we conceded and how/why we conceded it but I feel quite indifferent about it. I'll be back no doubt.
-
We're getting a few more penalties in recent weeks, obviously a good thing! 5 in the last 5 games. Coincidence? Chance? Opportunity? Or are we playing higher, getting into the box more often, driving into the box more often, giving ourselves more chance and opportunities?
