  1. "The powerhouse of Leicester" Danny Murphy on Jonny Evans. Piss off.
  2. Bet ITV and Liverpool fans were squealing about less time to talk about Liverpool and Klopp.
  3. If we get Cov they'll just be banging on about the last time they won anything of note. "We won the FA Cup in 1987 don't you know" it's all they can live off, dining out on it for 37 years.
  4. They'll probably get him to do the draw too.
  5. Abit of a throwback to 15/16 for pretty much all the goals. Beauty's!
  6. Starts Thursday. The Apprentice 2024 candidates - Meet the hopefuls vying for Lord Sugar's investment in series 18 (bbc.com)
  7. Cheers all. My phone is a few years old and i'm probably due a new one, battery is poor and it is slowing but as I said when I tried the Sky SIM the coverage seemed fine and improved dramatically so I don't think the phone is the reason for issues I seem to be having with EE in many places. I tried the Sky SIM at the KP a few weeks back and whilst it wasn't great (don't think anyone has great coverage there tbh) it worked in some capacity (fairly well in all honesty) compared to non-existent coverage EE provide, couldn't get the line up via my phone, was nearly KO by the time I saw the line up on Monday and that was when it eventually appeared on one of the screens.
  8. Best Network in peoples opinions/experiences? Currently with EE but getting fed up with their service, seems to be getting slower and worse everywhere I go - anyone else notice/experiencing this? Made even more infuriating when they're telling you they're the "UK's #1 Network for 10 years running" on every advert. I did try a Sky SIM (Who piggyback off O2?) and that seemed pretty good in most places I went, need to try it for a more prolonged period before I decide to move my number over and look at deals.
  9. I got the 'Who Are You?' fractionally before @Ric Flair
  10. I'm not going to get into a pissing competition over who is better, it could be levelled at me I have an agenda against Man City and you'd be right, but i'd like to see the comparison between money spent and players at their disposal - I might be proven wrong, i've not looked into it but I'd say this in Liverpool's defence against any of the "top" clubs tbh. I dislike Liverpool and their fans who think the worlds against them, but who's football do I prefer? Klopp and Liverpool's any day!
  11. Pep next please.
  12. Seeing as the O’Hare thread was closed this is as good as anywhere. Just seen O’Hare described as “The #pusb playmaker”
  13. Inviting pressure upon ourselves? Playing so deep in the last 20 defending a 1-0 lead - if we’d gone any further back on Monday we’d have been back on Filbert Street? Lack of control? Stupidity?
  14. I wouldn't call it outright boring, however i'm comparing to the previous 7 years of Puel and Rodgers, nothing can be as boring as that and I think if you're being honest you'd agree with that statement. At times, mainly earlier in the season, i've found Maresca's football quite exciting and entertaining, but bearing in mind things are supposed to get better, the team should learn more about the managers way's and how he wants them set up and play, I was buoyed. However as the season has gone on, I am finding we seem to have more emphasis on 'control' (Despite feeling less in control of matches than we did earlier in the season), feeling like the handbrake is being applied, stubbornness and downright stupidity seeing games out - play the percentages! That said, I still wouldn't say it's anywhere near as boring as the previous years of dour, negative football, that could well probably be masked because our wins and how the season has been successful (So far...) We play like we do in this league because we're a top team and generally we have to, teams sit behind the ball, we have to break them down. I get it. Will there be any need to play this way if we get promoted, will it be a success playing this way if we go up? Highly unlikely. We wouldn't be a top team, teams will not be coming up against scared and won't be sitting behind the ball. If we continue to play in the same way should we be promoted will it be as boring, draining, frustrating, pointless and unsuccessful as what we've seen before? Highly likely. Of course, we need to get there first and then it remains to be seen either way. Whilst we all obviously want us to win the league ensuing promotion and the PL is 'the place to be' unfortunately the nature of the PL is boring in itself, mainly because most teams play in the same inane way.
  15. Wild observation. More do than don’t, or atleast attempt to. They’re boring enough to without others trying to replicate, badly. Don’t get me wrong our poor atmosphere is up there with the worst but atmospheres up and down the country are poor it’s a talking point amongst most clubs, the one common denominator I hear largely? The fan bases are bored. Rightly or wrongly, entitled or not.
  16. LCFC have conceded late in each of the last five games they haven’t won. Boro (a): 83 Sheff Wed (a): 90+3 Ipswich (a): 90+3 Coventry (a): 79, 88, 90+4 Ipswich (h): 89 10 points dropped in the last 10 minutes of those games.
  17. If we played any further back as the game wore on last night we’d have been playing at Filbert Street. Yes we had the ball which blinds a lot of people into thinking we were being positive but with or without the ball ultimately we were sitting 11 men back, playing within our own half…18 yard box, I don’t see how anyone can see that any other way but negative.
  18. Saturday 3pm games I think Leicester roads/traffic is terrible - I must state it still doesn't make me leave early though. I find midweek night games it's piece of piss to get out and home though!
  19. Frustrated me late on when we're basically sitting with 11 men behind the half way line playing keep ball for keep balls sake, inviting pressure, letting Ipswich press us, then on the occasions we did cross the half way line we forgot how to pass the bleeding ball.
  20. Wasn't sure if I heard right but were UFS (It came from the Kop direction) calling fans out for leaving - "We can see you sneaking out" and/or "Loyal Supporters"? Credit to them if they were! About time they got called out. If not, they/anyone should, used to happen years ago.
  21. Yes, yes it is.
  22. So I raised the point after the last game but there needs to be a proper discussion now about late goals we've conceded in important matches and/or the manner in which we concede them. Certainly when you consider this from a team/manager/philosophy/ideology about how we play, why we play like we do, who crave and put so much emphasis on 'control' of matches so much. I did feel quite at ease and that we were in 'control' of games earlier in the season but just recently I don't feel we've been in control of games at all. Sheff Wed, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Coventry and Ipswich again. (There may be more?) We won in games against Millwall and Birmingham but late goals against them unsettled us and made for nervy endings when it could and should have been more comfortable. Alot was made about the late goals we scored stat and the score in the last 20 minutes of games earlier in the season and an incredible stat it was, i'm not sure what the 'score' is now but we cannot bury our heads in the sand when it goes against us, not in important matches. It's supposed get easier when you're 1-0, it feels like we make it harder for ourselves, playing the way we do, constantly inviting pressure upon ourselves, letting the opposition press us, is it not abit negative? If we're not going to kill games off we need to do the dirty work better, learn how to grind results out and staying strong at the back, showing some grit and resolve. We've largely had it all our own way for the most part of this season but on those rare times we are backs against the wall we've crumbled, as I keep reiterating i'm actually quite enjoying and understand why we're playing this way in this league but these are all wake up calls.
  23. One of Bren’s legacy signings.
  24. Seagrave literally ends footballers careers
