  1. Not a big deal for most of you guys, you see a debut all the time. This is the last game I’ve been able to get across to, & happened to be the debut of this guy. Came off the bench against Boro in a 2-0 win.
  2. I agree with you, I’m just past the point of thinking Top will sell us. He’s too much of a man child to admit he’s not the right man for the job and got it wrong.
  3. Didn’t want this to be lost in the KP Out thread, but there’s been a shift in the Thai election that may have some positive impact to King Power. It’s important to note that KP have done a deal with Airport of Thailand as of 3rd December 2025. This has upped the minimum guarantee being paid to AOT, but also extended the contracts which KP were in danger of losing. Anutin Charnvirakul, the PM since September, will form government with a coalition following elections this month. He will be the first PM voted back to office in 20 years. His conservative populist party, the Bhumjaithai party, will form government via a coalition. Their main coalition partner could be the Pheu Thai party, which is a reincarnation of Thaksin Shinawatra’s party. Thaksin is currently in prison, but could be released in a political deal. These quotes are from the new PM, and Thaksin, post Vichai’s death. Influential political veteran Anutin Charnvirakul described his long-time friend as a "Big Brother" and "an idol." "He was not a scion of a rich family but a real fighter... he became hugely successful in a short space of time," he told AFP. "He was definitely a role model for the new generation, generous and loved by his peers. "He bought this little football club and helped it to win the championship. He cared." Exiled former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, who gave Vichai his duty-free monopoly, paid tribute to the entrepreneur on Monday, describing him as "a great businessman". "I am honoured and blessed to have known Vichai for all these years and am deeply saddened by the loss that his family has encountered," the billionaire wrote in a Facebook post. "His memory will live on forever in the lives of so many that he has touched", he added. A KP ally is now PM of the country, potentially supported by the ex-PM who started the monopoly. Not to speculate any further, but with the deals done, the new KP CEO in place (who was President of AOT), and this PM driving tourism spending in the October 2025 budget, hopefully some smoother waters for KP ahead. Shame they’re selling the yacht.
  4. I’m very conscious of not resorting to needing a Messiah return viewpoint, like how United have acted since SAF left. But a Walsh and Smith double act would really get me excited to fix the structural and cultural issues at the club.
  5. Has anyone mentioned that Aribo isn’t available?
  6. This ***** is so caught up in alienating people to save his own job he’s forgotten that being able to put the right people around him, would save him his job.
  7. Been thinking this exact thought recently. Hope you don’t half the other crap in my brain too.
  8. Yeah but that was an all-time great sprint from Amartey
  9. Was nice to hear him talk about is leadership not just being an arm around but also a firm hand. Seems to be something we’re missing in the squad. Even if he contributes less than nothing on the pitch, if he can be part of the mentality change in the playing squad he’ll be a massive success. Not trying to put too much on him, but the players have gotten away with far too much, and our current leaders don’t really seem like they’ve got the personality to rein them in.
  10. Can’t believe they’ve let Ric back on the BBC, especially after the much publicised falling out back in ‘13.
  11. The whole window to get business done and we’ve got at least two deals we’re waiting confirmation on post deadline. Utter incompetence. It’s like they don’t realise we could get the players in early to help, or they do and they want to save 4 weeks wages.
  12. Feel like this is linked to Enzo… “if you get Mads back I can work with this” or “come back to us we’re getting Enzo”
  13. Jannik on holiday?
  14. I’m not going to list them out, I’m not your Wikipedia. Just because you don’t know the players or teams names, do not mean they’re nothing achievements. It is a world game, not a game focused on Western Europe. Bielsa only coached in South America until he a got a national team job, à la Ange, but he’s rubbish too right? The players are of lower standards, of course. But if you looked at the way Ange played with these ‘lower quality’ teams, it is somewhat more impressive to get them to play with the structure, skill and energy that he did. And for the (defensive) record, Ange’s flaw at Spurs was the fact Van de Ven and Romero could not stay fit, and they had no back up. When they both played together, they were a top 6 defence. Frank’s got the performing exceptionally though hasn’t he… I encourage you to not diminish the rest of the world’s ability in this sport. I am of course biased being based in Melbourne, but I know very, very well what that man can do. He also helped destroy Forest, does that not get bonus points? It’s all wishful thinking on my part it’s never going to happen.
  15. Yes and if Poch was an option I’d much rather him!
  16. “I know our league form has been unacceptable, but coming third was not going to change this football club, winning a trophy would. That was my ambition and I was prepared to wear it if it did not happen.” Culture setter.
  17. Serial winner, culture setter, takes no rubbish from players. Builds players into better players than they are. Witnessed it since his Brisbane Roar days. Don’t buy into the media rubbish about his style of play. It is more pragmatic than they let on. Spurs have done really well in the Prem since he left yeah?
  18. 17,000,000 Qatari Riyal equals £3,388,281.90
  19. Who actually did the interview? It’s one interview republished everywhere right?
  20. Nah I’m with you mate, just laughing at people trying to tell you of all people otherwise
  21. I’m fairly sure even if they weren’t employed by the club, people like Nige or Wes would pick up the phone if Kingy rang asking for some advice
  22. Think you’d know more than most mate 😂
  23. You mean again? I grew up about 15 minutes from Ramsey St you know Oh completely, I was calling for Ange whilst he was the Socceroos coach so this is a long term want for me! There’s a snowballs chance in hell he will have any interest in coming GAngea is my substance of choice
  24. Absolutely ****ing not
  25. I would do basically anything for it to be Ange.
