  1. His qualities are all off the ball. Intelligence, positioning, timing of runs and defensive discipline. On the ball he is lacking.
  2. Not great, need more from the wingers and KDH. Haven't shown enough quality on the occasions we've attacked in transition. Having said that we've look comfortable enough at the back, but think we'll need to up it a level 2nd half.
  3. Both wingers been crap so far
  4. Goalkeeper slow across to that
  5. It doesn't look as good watching it back on TV as it did live in the stadium, but Victor Camarasa for Cardiff back in 18/19 was a cracker (injury time winner as well). I was right behind the shot and it looked like it was going miles over the bar, then just watched in horror as it started to dip towards the top corner.
  6. Not so sure on that, on first glance it looked like the classic cynical trip to stop a break, but the reverse angle showed it was studs onto the Achilles. Red probably fair enough having seen that.
  7. All the central midfielders were on it today. I think Winks's levels have tailed off a bit over the last couple of months but he was a class apart today.
  8. Nelson is super smooth on the ball. Glides with it.
  9. It would have been when McAteer played on with a Stoke player down injured
  10. Yep, we were rubbish after the 2nd goal. Very very lax in possession.
  11. Everton fans are absolute cringe
  12. Am looking forward to the mental gymnastics of Everton fans if Forest get a deduction that relegates then whilst Everton finish 17th.
  13. Hull have signed Abdulkadir Omur. We were heavily linked with him in previous seasons.
  14. I'm not sure Doyle is overweight necessarily but he has absolute tree trunk legs. So that helps him to ping the diagonals, but contributes to him struggling defensively in one one one situations. He is sluggish whilst backpedaling and moving laterally as he just can't sort his legs out quickly enough. That was happening even before his injury where he was getting beaten frequently, especially on his inside, by average championship wingers.
  15. Main take aways for me here are that Justin starts over Doyle for the foreseeable, there is a bigger role for Albrighton to play than he has been getting previously, and Nelson looks like he is good enough.
  16. He was excellent last 30 mins tbf.
  17. Been a good 2nd half from Yunus, pleased he's on the score sheet. He is clearly a talented player, just missing the physical gifts which would make him more of a success.
  18. Only Stolarczyk, Cover and perhaps Nelson can come out with any credit there. Everyone else been atrocious. The midfield is being walked through, and then Doyle and Coady are getting rinsed repeatedly by the movement of their front line. They're both a step too slow. Appreciate it's a makeshift side, but for a system manager, you want to see evidence your second string can plug into it. There is none.
  19. Doyle and Coady miles off the pace defensively
  20. We will get mullered if we go up without major surgery. As soon as Ipswich, who were crap most of the game, upped the press we lost our composure completely. I'll give Enzo a pass on the inertia in making subs today, Albrighton for McAteer I'd have done earlier but aside from that I don't think we had the quality to impact the game off the bench.
  21. Ipswich won't be as bad as that second half.
  22. Southampton 1-0
  23. It's borderline really. It was definitely reckless in terms of force but it was one footed and his foot was low. Ridiculous from Fatawu to go in like that anyway.
  24. He has had a very good season at Luton, been really impressive. Not sure he will fancy the bench of a newly promoted side, assuming we make it.
  25. Same, would have been a great story if Littler won, and he was an absolute credit there with how he reacted to the defeat, but I was pleased Humphries got this one. Understated personality aside, It's not as if he's a boring player either, lovely quick and smooth throw.
