you kind of have to accept the PSR breach and just sell for a pittance regardless of book value, and rather than nickel and diming over pure profit, as we've done with Iversen and McAteer in recent years -
they did, that was the season that Millwall fans weren't allowed at our ground and vice versa, so the away end tickets for that home game were sent out to local schools.

Rodger’s vs the board (chicken vs egg)
The Doctor replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
while the club ****ed up those January windows (oh let's get Ryan Bennett to secure champions league football), I still don't think that Rodgers was entirely right saying the squad needed a rebuild, like at that point look at the squad we had and who signed them (or debut for the academy products) Schmeichel - Sven Albrighton, Vardy - Pearson Amartey, Ndidi, Mendy - Ranieri Iheanacho - Shakey Soyuncu, Evans, Ricardo, Barnes, Tielemans, Maddison, Choudhury, Ward - Puel Justin, Fofana, Bertrand, Vestergaard, Castagne, Thomas, KDH, Lookman, Soumare, Daka, Perez - Rodgers He signed a good 40% of the squad, if we needed a rebuild then that's on the poor recruitment between him and Congerton, particularly since if you look at the best line up from that (excepting Fofana as he was injured at the time) in the system we played it's arguably: Schmeichel, Ricardo, Evans, Soyuncu, Castagne, Ndidi, Barnes, Tielemans, Maddison, Lookman, Vardy, or 1 x Sven, 1 x Pearson, 1 x Ranieri, 6 x Puel, 2 x Rodgers he signed a huge chunk of the squad, and importantly a huge chunk of the bloat, any claim of a need for a rebuild is ultimately a confession that him and Congerton ****ed it big time -
nah, Chelsea, man Utd then international break

I think at this point, you have to ask if it's the managers at all when the only manager to get a tune out of this squad was in the division below, and even then they still took a couple of months just dossing around. We've got the most unprofessional squad going, who just down tools every time a manager tries to actually manage them, and go crying to Aiyawatt about how they're expected to work for their pay cheque. RvN is clearly not good enough as a tactician but at this point, you might as well keep him and clear the decks fully in the summer, strip the squad to it's bare bones and fully reset the attitude in the club. -
very average save, it was a poor penalty. Nice height, not much power. the sort you save with ease so long as you go the right way
-
What a surprise, GBH FCs star player is a thug. Need a point deduction for the club until they stop supporting and enabling violent conduct
-
he is unfortunately not good enough for the top flight any more, yes he's isolated by the system but he's also always a yard behind when it does come to him. That however is on a complete lack of succession planning from all involved. We've signed one replacement in 5 years in Daka and he's been so woefully mismanaged in the early days under Brendan that he's never recovered (fans getting on his back at everything is not helping). He should be the second or third choice off the bench every so often, not a starter, that he is a starter and we have no one better is the fault of a series of managers and the clown who directs our football

I mean, Paolo Sousa? he is absolutely at that same level of bad though. -
It's not that it's no longer acceptable, it's that it's not really viable at all. It's not an effective tactic for 99% of teams, hence it's not used.
-
You'd have to be taking the piss to blame Hermansen there, it's all the centre backs just ignoring the play.
-
is that not offside or are we just the laziest defence in existence?
-
was kind of obvious it'd be a pretty boring game as well, not sure who thought this would be a good tv pick.
-
Thought he'd gone by that point but not sure if that just proves the point or not.
-
i swear we have the stupidest team in the division though, ends up needing to do that.
-
Potters teams are generally shit in front of goal, but then they've not come up against Faes before.
-
does look like a discount bag of charcoal.
-
his career is already done, he's just going through the motions before retirement

West Ham United away, AKA eat, sleep, Decordova-Reid repeat.

planning to be if I get back for kickoff. It's that or just do a marathon gym session -

The Doctor replied to Pliskin's topic in Leicester City Forum
you very much misremember. the xG was actually about equal. They had a record number of shots taken (not on target) because they took a shit ton of low quality shots: https://understat.com/match/26738 -

3 more points including a game against the only side worse than us, and a side we're tied on points with. it'd be fair to suggest that the more points is because he had a slightly easier set of fixtures. Like, compare directly the games they both took charge of (Spurs, Fulham, Villa, Palace, Everton, Arsenal): Cooper W0, D3, L3, PTS 3, G8, GA12 RVN W1, D0, L5, PTS 3, G3, GA13 the points haul is the same, fewer goals scored yes. more goals conceded just, however that is pretty much entirety the difference of playing a well coached Everton side Vs Dyches Everton, who'd conceded at least 3 in every game before us (we didn't even manage 3 shots on target). Cooper was abysmal points wise, no better than RVN once fixture difficulty is accounted for -

I don't know anyone who didn't want Cooper because he was specifically at forest, the objection based on his time at forest would have been the same if it were Bournemouth or Brentford he'd been at, because it was built around his performance at forest, how they'd have probably got more points away from home if they'd just stayed home and hoped a meteor flattened the opposition ground at kickoff and how he seemed to have no tactical plan besides pray for luck. there's an interesting question of whether people subconsciously focused more on those flaws because he's ex forest, but it wasn't really a straight up "he's ex forest, don't want him" attitude -
Ayew, Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi, McAteer ?
The Doctor replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
he doesn't though. Look how many we concede down the right hand side with him on it, and then look as his typical position as the ball goes in after Justin got ****ed, because it's typically in the centre circle slowly ambling back, because he decided in possession he should be way over to the left. -

The Doctor replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
"Ayew miscontrols the ball most often of the wingers" gee, who could have possibly expected that?
