We managed to win the ball from them which led to good chances from them but we were actually very poor at creating chances in the final third. Defend deep against us and this type of football struggles. Enzo needs to realise this.

That Jones player was doing some horrendous dives and got a free kick every time. That ref was a right useless ****.

Yea we’re struggling against these deep blocks but our guys have been over hitting simple passes and should be doing better. They need to show quality and delicate touches, especially KDH if he thinks he’s a higher level.

XG is an interesting stat but that’s all it is a statistic. You could get 10xg in one game but it’s still worth 3pts. You could have loads of low quality long shots in a game which takes your xG to 1 but it doesn’t mean you deserved a goal. Don’t use an xG take to show the league is a lot closer than it is, we’re well worth our lead at the summit.

I can’t see any of the old crop of players being offered new contracts because I bet they’re getting paid too much and wouldn’t want to sign a new lesser contract. I’m surprised Hamza was given a new 4 year contract but maybe he’s earning less now but was happy to sign because of the long deal.

They exploited the space our inverted full back left but we dealt with these attacks well. We lost because we couldn’t break them down

Leeds were average and did a job on us. like all the other teams at the KP they defended deep and we couldn’t break them down. we lost this game because they had a good deep block against us not because they outplayed us. It’s only our second loss, both at home, but I hope we continue to work hard at creating chances against teams defending deep because 1 shot on target isn’t good enough.

Difference is per 90 but I still don’t understand how it works to make us go from best to 4th??

We were no where near our best at Sunderland but could have easily won 4-1. I’ve got no issues with that game. QPR defended deep with lots of numbers and we struggled to create any good chances but we managed to grind a win. I do think we were a bit sloppy in possession, maybe complacency creeping in but I still think we were solid both games. Leeds will be a completely different game to QPR but our players should absolutely be up for this!
