Not hamza fault at the back stick. Faes was covering Vesty, Hamza covering the pull back. Fatawu had to make the ground up there but was miles behind because their counter came straight from him cutting in running into bodies again. Second goal was mich worse. Vesty looks really poor at this level.

We can do the nice stuff well but we are terrible at winning battles and doing the nasty stuff.

I don’t think it was a pen. Hull defender has gone to put a block in and Vardy makes contact via his follow through. That said I don’t think the others were pens either especially the one where the ‘foul’ happened outside the box. The ref just gave soft foul after soft foul, especially against our press. Ref completely killed our game. I’m still shocked by how soft this ref is that he didn’t give the KDH Ipswich pen. Insane inconsistency!

This has been our biggest problem. We squander chances like no other team I have ever witnessed, I get it happens but no where near the level it does for us. How many times have we seen us pass the ball out for a goal kick this season 😩😩

Agree. Think normally a team would get pissed and find something deep inside them but for whatever reason we have a softness in us which has been around for years.

I thought we looked a lot better than them in terms of football but our biggest problem is we squander attacks frequently and when it’s turned over well so easy to penetrate and our players don’t have the strength or know how to commit those dirty little fouls. Their pen came from a straight run from the half way line as did their second goal which should have been a free kick to KDH but wasn’t given and a big punt upfield later we concede from yet another shot outside the box (our players just don’t throw their bodies like most teams do)! we have good technical players but once we lose that ball we struggle to stop oncoming attacks and teams have to do very little to create compared to what it seems we have to do!

It’s not just the blatant things they’re missing but also the cheap soft fouls. The amount against us will be so much higher than the opposition. Especially KDH, he can’t win a soft foul to save his life and usually ends up giving up a soft foul as a result for trying! We’re not even a physical team so it’s not as if we’re being too strong. We’re getting very little from refs whereas opposition seem to be getting a lot. It’s completely unbalanced and has been for several weeks!

Their pen was clearly outside the box, he was going to give their player another yellow but stopped when he saw he already had a yellow! Yet again another woeful ref with so many decisions going against us!

Selling our best players doesn’t seem to be enough it seems. I’m hoping Babylon’s version of events is the outcome.
