Been worrying about this game all night, really do think we could get battered. Just woke up after a disturbing dream involving Russell. He was somehow in my house, sitting at the dining table and I’m about to watch Leicester on the tv. I check the team sheet and it’s the weirdest ****ing team I’ve ever seen. All I remember now is that the goalkeeper was Widow Twankey, the midfield two are Bobby Reid and it just says Bobby Reid’s mate (?) and up front is Jordan ****ing Ayew. A big row ensues and i’m accusing him of sabotage, deliberately trying to get the boot etc. He starts getting really violent and picks up a knife, I crack him over the head with this weird rectangular, green teapot. He drops down, seemingly dead and I’m panicking about what to do next, that’s when I woke up. Not sure what all this means (I did eat a bag of Haribo before bed), but I’m not convinced it’s a good omen 🥴

Then that person would need sectioning.

I’ve watched Truro several times at their old ground, first time at the new one and I was quite impressed. They’re a well run club with a clear vision of where they want to be. The game itself was very one sided which was disappointing, had a good evening though and yeah, there were quite a few Leicester fans about which was good to see.

Ideal scenario would be if Aluko could cover both lb and rb positions, that would make room for Kangasniemi on the bench. Can’t seeing him ditching Thomas completely though 😕

I hope he does get into the first team, I just think we can’t afford to have Thomas, Aluko and another cb on the bench when we only have 7 subs. It’ll be interesting to see the squad selection on Saturday, surely no space for Cullen/Reid 🙏

I’d agree with that being our strongest 11, with the obvious change of McCarthy for Stolarczyk. I think Kangasniemi would maybe have to be sacrificed from that bench (unfortunately) though as Thomas could cover lb/cb which would make room to put either Chaplin or Doyle there instead. BDCR and Cullen hopefully ousted from the squad entirely.

Keeping Page this season is absolutely imperative. No doubt he will be off in the summer though, even if we somehow managed to go up.

With respect, we were all well aware of just how bad Martin is and that was before his Rangers stint. Unfortunately, we are run an utterly inept regime who have been courting this clown for years.

Because replacing him with Alves would mean either Reid or Cullen playing the ten role 🫥

Feels like a must win, even this early in the season. Anything less and Martin can get in the bin. I would go with… Stolarczyk Aluko Souttar Kanga McFarlane Braybrooke Page Alves Howell Watson Bristric Harsh on JJ but I think him and Aluko will be rotated. I reckon it will be Alves on the left and BDCR or Cullen number ten though 🙄 Hopefully we sign another striker and centre back at the very least on the day.

Can’t be arsed to read the thread, but having seen the lineup, if it was Gray or Souttar at cb instead of Thomas, I’d be happy with that. Four fullbacks in defence is pretty ****ing tragic though tbf 😆
