Kante in terms of how much he elevated a team was behind only about 3/4 players in the world. He was that good. Just a very unique player. Completely blows my mind that him and Mahrez were playing in France, in the latters case Ligue 2, until 24 / 22. Insane how good they turned out really.

I was quite pro Shakespeare being appointed but was pretty clear quite early we'd fallen into a bit of a trap. He never even really wanted it either but felt obliged. In fairness though he got shafted.
