With the home grown thing I do sort of understand the motivation for this. There is some sense as a squad player. But thirty odd million obviously nonsense.

1. No - it's no secret. 2. Yes, mostly at the ref and generally just think it's part of home advantage to try and force the ref into decisions in our favour. 3. Yes but not every time. Depends on circumstance. 4. Who wouldn't? This is all pretty minor I think anyway. I think it's completely normal. Like I say I believe it's part of home advantage especially.

Is it not referring to Cooper?

You wonder if it's something we're doing or if it's just bad luck. Obviously there's a degree of bad luck involved regardless (I mean obviously with Alves). For it to happen to all three of our most promising kids is astounding. Could end up being the difference between them being useful to us or not. Nobody will convince me Ricardo & Justin have been the same. -
Option 1 for sure.

It's just absolutely sickening. -
Chilwell won a Champions League and was arguably MOTM in the final. Complete anomaly in truth. On the whole he's been pretty average for them. But he actually reached the summit.

Puel was 100% a Sunday.

You mean that playing like this, we're not likely to keep facing teams we came above last season who go down to 10 men each week? I for one am amazed.
-
Looks like it isn't happening this time around. Looks like it's 2022/23 all over again. Who expected anything else of this lot though.
-
Pointless transfer. Sooner he gets out of there the likelier he is to save his career. Problem is I don't really think it's the right move for us now either. We have far bigger issues.
-
Even beyond Cooper this season has been littered with ineptness. It's an underlying problem. Cooper does nothing for me at all but I've felt like this since before Cooper. Even last season. For a year where we literally won the league something just wasn't totally right.

I do wonder at times how much these sorts of posts have become a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy and maybe just simply appointing a good manager would actually turn things, but the club is very, very uninspiring at the minute. I think we stick around hoping it gets better, but there is a really damning emptiness I feel about things these days. What bothered me more about yesterdays result than the result itself, was how little it actually did bother me. But this isn't new. It's been the case for a couple of years now to be totally honest. I think the club is just very half-hearted at the minute.

We do have a very lower league club mindset. Wonder when we'll start the horrendous Leicester are massive everywhere we go.

Should be pinned at the top of the forum. I think people feeling empty about the club will be ultimately feeling it down to this. It's just a massive problem that there is an instinctive reaction to not criticise the owner because of who he is. I was far angrier two seasons ago because it was the first time it had really caught up with us. With this now this is just entirely what I expect from us now. A poor operation at virtually every level. The final roll of the dice for me and having any enthusiasm for Leicester games beyond a social with my mates is a change of ownership. I thought it just needed Rodgers to go. It didn't. I wondered if Maresca's style and being heavy favourites against teams we're substantially better resourced than every game was a part of it. It probably isn't. It will take a genuinely extraordinary manager I think to make me strongly invested again under this ownership, and what sign is there that we're getting it? The Cooper appointment in itself should tell you everything. It's a loveless relationship. His flaws at Forest were often overlooked because he was their Pearson. Their man who restored them to the top flight. What credit like that does he have here? The fact he did that at Forest of all clubs probably works as anti credit in the bank if such a thing exists. I'm not even particularly angry about it anymore. Just empty. I want to actually be capable of getting angry about it again. I don't think that can happen again under this ownership.

We put down enough money in the summer, with the squad we already had to pull quite clear. But it's just another completely bodged window. As scattergun as ever and just more proof of no clue at the club.
-
Was a few times against Forest where I thought he's just well off the pace at this level now. Was beaten to things he shouldn't have been. It's such a shame because without injuries you're looking at a really top player.

It's a matter of time I think. Our centre halves are atrocious. It feels like the obvious solution.

Yep. He's on 7 losses out of 7 against them. This is from the Ten Hag era onwards too. -
This is what I was getting at after Ipswich. He's gone there and tried to imitate last season and done it ten games into the season. As if he's asking the players what to do and they're telling him. He's got no idea of his own and if he has then he's got no way of showing it. It's complete guesswork.

How we've been hammered twice at Old Trafford in 10 days by this United is just astounding. We must be the only club in this country still scared of that club. -

14 goals conceded in our last 5 games. Games against 5th, 13th, 13th, 17th and 20th. -
We're like a bloke who keeps going back to his cheating ex on Soumare. It doesn't matter how many times she does it she'll always get a pass because she brushes up well every few months. Please get rid and hope that another club have the same delusion some of our Twitter tacticos do.

I've felt like this since way before Cooper. Cooper's very much the symptom rather than the causation. I don't think it'll ever be quite the same for me until we're under a new direction.
