If there's any game that encapsulates just how far backwards we've actually gone its that. We are just miles off a team like Forest now - and that is ridiculous, unthinkable probably 2/3 years ago. They were brilliant and that pains me to say it. We did well in the first half but that second half - good ****ing god. That's about as dire a half as I've ever seen from us. Like unforgivably bad.

Always sceptical of signings like that. Arsenal fans overhype their players more than any fanbase in England and it definitely helps them get inflated fees for bang average players.

Have to say I'm not impressed. Early days but every mitigating factor you could make for him you could aim at Buonanotte and he's doing fine - the flip side is that maybe Buonanotte is just top drawer. Game just seems to bypass him. Going to take time me thinks.

He's outstanding. Brighton are doing well but I do wonder if there's the odd time even despite that where they'll regret loaning him out.

Think it's quite damning how few English managers you see even in other leagues though. This as much as anything points to the lack of depth. Are say... Monza, not giving a job to an English coach because they weren't quite good enough for the top jobs in England? Other than Liam Rosenior and Will Still (who is a bit of a strange case anyway) there's none in the big leagues.

It's been 2-2 on 5 of our last 16 visits. That does feel like quite a lot really for a specific scoreline.

All sounds very on brand. This done badly is probably worse than it not happening at all as they'll hide behind this and plenty will fall for it.
