  1. It was definitely one of the better. I think for the first half an hour or so it was great. Was very up and down even by our standards, you could have a 5 minute song followed by 5 minutes of a pin drop. Quite an enjoyable one on the whole really.
  2. Fatawu (Abdul) Running down the wing (Abdul) Makes the Leicester sing (Abdul) Leicester's going straight back up I'd change the last line to Leicester's gonna win the league though, flows a bit better.
  3. Back in the comfortable position we were in 6 weeks ago now. I think 2-3 flattered Birmingham to be honest.
  4. It's a slippery slope to think it doesn't matter. Exactly the sort of mentality that we should be shaking. We should be winning this league. Ipswich are going to make this a battle but it's still one we ought to win. It's pretty mental that 100 points might not do it though.
  5. Nobody at the top looks that great. Arsenal are probably the pick and I still liked them more a year ago.
  6. This has been bizarrely dire.
  7. This is bizarrely flat. Still think Man Utd implode though.
  8. I'm generally on Daka's side but what are the average minutes per striker in the division? You couldn't assume anybody will play every single minute.
  9. For me this is why he probably deserves to go. He has kept a lot of these jokers and his signings have been pretty sketchy at best too. If anything actually I'd say his signings have been even worse.
  10. Dyche comfortably beating Burnley comfortably (as they were obviously going to) is quite a laugh given the amount of crap we had to endure about how Burnley had "left the dark ages" by appointing Kompany. He looks a bigger dud by the week.
  11. Really do wonder if Man City have dropped the ball this time. Granted there's no Haaland or de Bruyne fit but there really isn't anybody that scares you on the bench. Their squad is definitely weaker than last year.
  12. Superb weekend for us if we do win on Monday - you have to assume next week will probably be good as well.
  13. Hull and particularly Middlesbrough are both dubious for this, I always had Hull down as Humberside and Middlesbrough Teesside but both technically are Yorkshire. It's a mad stat. I can barely even count Huddersfield either. We could pick an 11 from here and we'd beat Huddersfield. We just always do.
  14. bloody hell.
  15. We still haven't dropped points to a team outside of Yorkshire.
  16. Scoreline flattered Millwall in the end. No idea how they've ended up being the ones to get 2 past us. We stepped it up a gear in the second half and they had no answer. Referee absolutely woeful. Stroud is appalling every game without fail.
  17. 80% possession and hardly anything of note created. Not good enough.
  18. Good matchday for us providing we do win as there'd be an actual gain. Leeds losing is bigger than Ipswich winning. I do think if Ipswich come out of boxing day top of the league, they will win it. If they can seriously take top spot from us during a run of Middlesbrough, Watford, Norwich and Leeds, three of them away, while we had Plymouth, Millwall, Birmingham, Rotherham, three of them at home I'd have to concede they might be better.
  19. Manchester United an absolute joke as ever. That's the single worst CL campaign ever from an English side.
  20. Unreal isn't it. Watford blooooooooody hell.
  21. Ipswich are annoying but Leeds losing makes this a decent matchday providing we win tomorrow. I really do think two teams are getting 100+.
  22. I can't imagine what goes through Yunus Akgun's head. I'd be almost embarrassed if Barco ended up here.
  23. And what did the support do about it? Would Rodgers have gotten away with what he did at Everton or at Leeds? Remember Wolves fans belting out a song wanting their DoF sacked against us last season? Meanwhile here, the majority of our ground probably hasn't heard of Jon Rudkin. This is no defence of the club at all and I'm in agreement with whoever was making points about how this has been a very long drawn out and purposeful decline, but the fans did absolutely nothing about it last season as a collective. It was very much a minority making their voices heard at the disgusting toss served up and in some instances you even had fans fighting back at those being critical. This argument you make dies on this point sadly. We're also literally top of the league this season. Yes, a league we shouldn't be in, but are showing some signs of recovery at least. The odds are that we are on the way back up yet the support is as bad as ever. The truth isn't that this is some protest at the club's diabolical procedure for the last few years as that would've been far more evident last season, it's that we have utter shit fans.
  24. Have just informed the LRI about the flurry of emergencies they should be expecting at some point around 21:45 on Wednesday.
  25. Said for a while I think if any team was going to get a hammering from us it would be Plymouth. They just attack regardless of their lack of quality. The one side who seem to genuinely stick to this in any situation. They were probably unlucky to be behind at half time but imploded afterwards. Enjoyable game.
