Was always going to move and given the other games around it there wasn't much of a slot. Crap though.

This makes a lot of sense - position we're relatively weak in, a player we were linked to in the summer and Maresca has signed before / managed at two clubs. Scores very well on the all important FBref as well. Get it done. £6mil should do it.
-
Ulloa was also eligible for Chile now you mention it.

The truth is virtually nobody sees going back to VAR next season as a positive which I think tells you everything. An assault on the supporter.
-
Refer anybody who comes out with this myth about VAR being any good in Europe to this Man United game. An absolute shower of shit for both teams.
-
Feel like there are too many long range goals. My CM is scoring absolutely tonnes and my striker can't get a kick.
-
He's awful really. Total ineptness and we're expected to foot the bill for every shortcoming despite the ridiculous amount we were paying him anyway.
-
Extremely overrated player by our fanbase but do think even despite that he had a relatively rough deal last season.
-
I'm in the top bracket comfortably and I agree it should be more of a rolling thing. Maybe 2 or 3 years. Our away ends suffer as a result of it.
-
Covering their arses I think. They'll reduce the expectation on tickets until they're absolutely sure. Should've taken 3,600 straight up. The rate these have sold is no surprise at all to anybody who has a clue.
-
It's strange to say given the personnel we have but the strikers have struggled for large parts of this season.
-
Vintage Rodgers. Hold it fraud.

Newcastle have been pretty awful in this group bar the PSG game. The Dortmund games have surprised me a lot, I thought they'd be ideal opposition for Newcastle but I've gotten them a bit wrong, they aren't what I thought they were.
-
I think Winks' agility only being 12 is ridiculously low as well.
-
It's an absolute joke if we only get 2,400. If that ends up being the case we really have got to stop giving as many as we do.
-
Just another instance of where Liverpool get different treatment to everybody else.
-
Yeah I've just had a quick check and everything's still how I remember it. I meant in terms of Brazilian names etc...
-
I know you have said in the past you support it but I think it's unavoidable. I think it's created an expectation that will simply never be met while collateral damage will never be avoided.
-
I started my save last night but wondering if I've wasted a bit of time on it if a load of stuff will change on the main game today.
-
I think we have enough evidence now that it doesn't work - certainly not in its current form anyway. I'll support anything that enhances the game. Goal line technology for example has worked absolutely fine bar literally one incident. VAR is without any shadow of a doubt a net negative.

A third of the season gone - your thoughts?
Dan replied to Happy Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nobody can complain at 13 wins from 15 games, which is still I believe to be the best a side has ever had after this many games at this level. The caveat to this I suppose is on paper we probably ought to be the side capable of doing that as as has been well documented our relegation was an absolute relative freak. I did read that fosse way article the other day though, before the Leeds game that picked a few holes in us and in truth, it was hard to disagree with large parts of it, which seems mental but I do get it. I think the problem here though is that the article, and being honest with ourselves the majority of us are still viewing us through the prism of a Premier League level club playing in the Championship, which is a luxury that our results have afforded us. I think it's pretty clear we will get promoted beyond a catastrophic drop off in form - I concede however there's a possibility that Leicester, Ipswich and Leeds do similarly to what Plymouth, Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday did last season. In that our points tally is going to be comfortably enough to get us up in any other season, but I think there's a possibility that the team in 3rd this season gets something like 90+ as well. I still think we can take the record but there've been a couple of red flags in the last three games. Signs of wobbling and I'd not be surprised if we dropped points at Middlesbrough at the weekend, but I think even if we do there's every chance we put together another big run of wins like this one just gone later in the season. I think our depth will shine through over some of the busy periods and we'll win games quietly and efficiently. So in short, happy, Maresca doing very well particularly given how much of a rookie he is, but it is hard to not imagine everything through the prism of being a PL club and that'll naturally cap how happy you can actually be with things. Not that that is Maresca's fault at all. -
The only solace is it's nearly impossible for them to drop this season so the luck is wasted (in fairness they've been the better side here). 13 points already so only need another 17 this season.

I think what's very damning for the Kop is that I think if you take SK1 out the family stand is genuinely better now. It to me symoblises everything about how badly our ground is set out to supplement atmosphere.
-
I do tend to agree that it is a nationwide problem, Leeds' three ends here since crowds came back have all been worse than I remember, I thought last night they'd be better especially given the scale of the game and the fact they won but it wasn't dissimilar to an end of ours - large periods of silence and piped up when they'd won. I maintain that ours is beyond repair unless the ground is given a total reshuffle to actually supplement the atmosphere. People have ridiculed this whole swap the kop and the family stand on here for years but other clubs have done similar so I don't see why it's some sort of massive ask at this club. I also don't believe there is a silver bullet as such. I'm pro safe standing but I've never quite bought the notion that introducing that alone will fix everything.
-
I'm not quite at the writing off stage but it's quite damning when I'm not disagreeing with shouts to start Choudhury instead. I'd limit him to sub cameos as his strength I think is going to be goal threat late on. His allround game is really lacking though. Surprised at him and not in a good way.
