  1. I'm the same. I find it almost funny watching it at times. Teams are genuinely completely petrified of us. It's superb stuff. We've proven we have purpose in our passing so the patience has been earned.
  2. It just gets more and more ridiculous by the week we're in this league. Get that record. We can absolutely do it.
  3. I've come across a few of his videos. To say it's just one person he is good.
  4. I've seen him outside of Leicester games. Not having Vestergaard's shorter passing isn't necessarily a criticism, it's a big strength of Vestergaard's.
  5. I do think Vestergaard to Coady is a downgrade in terms of playing through the lines and whatnot, Coady's decent at diagonals but I think for the shorter balls Vestergaard is as good as you'll get in this division which is why I'd probably give him the nod tomorrow. I'm not sure Coady's is injury related either I just don't think it's a major strength.
  6. He's pretty much the ideal candidate to be backup to Winks. Won't demand a start, similar style of play, won't need to overly rely on him due to having Winks (which is good for managing a return from injury). You can gradually ease him in.
  7. At the minute, the order of the thread title. I don't think he will but I'd genuinely go back to Vestergaard tomorrow. How times have changed.
  8. There's a good video of it on youtube. I wonder if they'll get near to that tomorrow. They haven't since.
  9. That one alone is a great example. We let in 60 goals that season yet a centre half won it over a striker who got 20 goals playing Mendidi Puelball. Scary hour.
  10. He's by a mile the best player in the league. It's a freak of a signing getting him in this league, he's Europa League level seriously. The club got this spot on, kept tabs on him and pounced when the opportunity came up - given that happened to be when we dropped it's pretty mental. He definitely needs a specific type of play style to thrive which is the main reason I believe he tailed off at Spurs. I think he'd have actually featured quite a bit for them under Postecoglou. Really good player. Genuinely amazed I've heard people saying we'd need better upon promotion. He's one of the safest bets to step up.
  11. The theory that he's played as much football as a 32/33 year old and is now past it holds more and more weight by the game. If you were offered him back for Winks would you take it?
  12. Peculiar to hear after we're all reliably informed it works perfectly in Europe.
  13. Stoke brought a cracking end here in 2015.
  14. Preston fans have got that proper lower league inverse snobbery haven't they. Chips on both shoulders.
  15. The 1st half was an absolute disgrace. One ****ing minute (which is as clear as day a sign they've given the game up) and then of that minute I think the ball was in play for about 15 seconds from them having a corner and refusing to allow us to break on them. Woeful refereeing.
  16. Well I legitimately think we're in with a very good chance of beating the all-time record for this level - so not badly really
  17. Yep case rested.
  18. I'm trying to be humble about it all but lets be honest, it's absolutely bonkers we're in this division, we're miles better than this league. Game after game you feel quite proud to watch us given you've seen us stumble through this division in the past, but another part of you can't help but wonder how we actually managed to go all the way and drop last season. I said at the time when we dropped it was the worst relegation ever. I'm even more sure of it now. Lets get the record. We have a fantastic side at this level and a really good manager. We can do it.
  19. We're absolutely miles better than Sheffield United and Luton. It's an indictment on Rodgers' management.
  20. I do wonder how we'd be doing in the PL. I wonder how many points someone like say Palace would get from their opening 10 in this league.
  21. The season that got me hooked on away games and the one in particular was up there.
  22. I'm not going to slaughter him for that specifically but the fact that's considered noteworthy. That should be absolutely your capability in that position. For what it's worth our recruitment in the summer looks really good.

    VAR

The automated offsides have worked and they actually provide an instant decision like goal line technology does. Those two things are as far as it should go. The current set up is absolutely appalling, utterly terrible to watch in both the ground and on TV.
  24. This could be a tough watch. Jesus.
  25. Can see this being a carbon copy of the Bristol City game - extremely defensive away side, we largely dominate and just about get the win. 1-0 to us.
