I'm less and less convinced that the majority fall for it now. I think his reputation has taken genuine damage from last seasons disgrace and other than a few idiots on Talksport (of which they also have Simon Jordan who regularly pilloried him) there was no outcry that he'd gone. It was our own club, and by the sounds of what Tanner said, Rudkin that continued to fall for it, which is a red flag. I think he's genuinely done at any serious level. Total fraud.

Exact same thing happened to Boro a year ago.

Saudis target best top flight referees

No worries for the FA then. -
Watch out. They might try and murder us next time.

Night game at Anfield. First five minutes goal. Eventual defeat via a Jota goal. Abysmal, borderline corrupt officiating. I've definitely seen that game at least 5 times already. Shame but just a shit draw in a season it was never going to be that important for us.
-
I've seen this exact game about 7 times against these. Jota always scores as well.
-
These refs deserve every ounce of it. ****ing jokers.
-
Referee is absolutely woeful. Standard Anfield officiating. We're fortunate to be ahead but we've played some nice stuff as well - Maresca impresses me more by the game.

In fairness they actually did something in the Premier League, I never thought they'd put in a ticket price cap like that. It does make it particularly farcical when it's more expensive in this league though. Should drop down in £5 increments per league (and yeah that isn't ideal but I don't think anybody would be too upset by £25).

Think it's the only ground we played at in all 9 years and didn't win once.

Yep. I'm not fooled that we've turned this corner yet as a club. Maresca looking a great appointment mind. -

They should leave it up to the main football nous at the club - Enzo Maresca. He's first hand witnessed what a shambles it is managing against it and nothing's changed in those three years. Honestly I didn't realise quite how bad Petty's record actually was until it was posted above. Absolutely dog shit stats. He's got to go. -

It's complete dog shit isn't it. There's enough evidence that we need a big shake up at this level now. How many times do we have to get relegated for something to change? -
Disgraceful pricing.
-
It's added extremely little, and even those who advocate for it concede that it isn't going to bring about 100% of correct decisions. So it isn't foolproof. Yet the negatives are unavoidable. The bias hasn't been taken away - if anything it's just highlighted it even further. Having every goal / decision sanitised in that way really is killing the sport as a spectacle. The refs in this league are no good but honestly I've seen the alternative and bad referees are the far lesser of two evils here.
-
It's telling how you hear basically nobody 'ever' say they wish they had VAR back. It's been a complete and utter disaster for the sport, why can they not admit it?
-
75% of the Kop is a complete write off.
-
Would be a proper two birds with one stone result. Hurts both teams in the long run.
-
It's quite comfortable as well. We have grown as a club. Club size isn't set in stone.
-
Even how disgraceful we were last year we'd have not dropped this time out. I'm not convinced any of the three who went up have actually improved. To think with a semi competent promoted trio you have Everton, Forest and genuinely even Chelsea in proper danger but they'll all get away with it, sickeningly.
-
9-0 under huge threat here. This is just embarrassing stuff. It's like the Eredivisie.
-
How bad can Chelsea actually get? I'm at a point where I think they're genuinely lucky that you have the likes of Luton and Sheffield United in the league. I don't think even teams like Everton or Wolves will only take 5 points from those 6 fixtures they've had.
