When Daka went down 'injured' the other day Norwich fans were singing "dig a hole and ****ing bury him" Presumably they'll have the same complaints about this as well?
-
That's a real shame for Hearts, feels like the pendulum has swung a bit.
-
Don't really agree. Think going entirely off an individual (which I have admittedly done there) is flawed. The collective aren't often that far off though. Obviously with exceptions.
-
On the flip side, was speaking to Norwich fans yesterday who said "they are absolutely miles off the side of two years ago, they played us off the park." Although he also described this Norwich side as the worst he's ever seen and he's retired
-
In a nutshell, correct.
-
No. Think it's the first game other than the Wednesday game where we've won and actually been quite obviously the better side, but I do think yesterday was more about Norwich than us. What I would say is seeing the state of them probably goes a way to me thinking as bad as we are we're not quite relegation bad. Norwich the worst side we've played all season. They were truly terrible at the back.

Injuries can happen but do think the one on here who kept making the point that he'd been thrown in after months of not even playing any football may have had a point. Been calling for him to play, but this did seem risky - could've been mitigated by simply playing him from the start.
-
We did deserve to win but it said far more about Norwich tbh. Very similar to the opening day game.
-
They are ****ed
-
Christ Norwich are ****ed.
-
We're going. You can just tell.
-
Coming isnt it
-
Everything I expected. Two miserable teams.
-
Of course its one of the only bearable players who gets injured.
-
Genuinely probably Coventry. The one game all season where we've allowed little at our goal and should have scored ourselves. Also put into context the opposition. I'd imagine Coventry have some regrets about that game - they've got a terrible record here and completely passively gave up their best chance to win here in a generation. Praying we don't get them in the cup, they'll slaughter us now that the spiel of us being a decent side at this level has been exposed.

Fair analysis. He's had a rubbish hand but like Van Nistelrooy before him, for me, he only needed to not be terrible for me to give him a bit of a pass and to funnel everything at those above him. While those above are a far bigger problem, he looks frankly terrible. We're a very badly coached side. Maresca's the only manager since 2021 to get a tune out of our side. Cifuentes lost me very early to be honest. Was pretty obvious what was happening. He never seemed tough enough, we needed somebody ruthless, somebody who will not tolerate these players or his bosses taking the piss. The sketchy performances even early doors combined with this - knew he was a dud pretty early on in all honesty.
-
Not perfect but those stats speak for themselves - we'd be in even bigger trouble without him.
-
These, like us, Southampton, arguably Sheff Utd - are a team you'd rather play away than at home. Part of me just thinks on law on averages they are going to get a result at home soon. Losing your first 7 home games just seems implausible. This'll be a terrible game. 0-0 wouldn't surprise me at all - two dreadful, but nervy teams.
-
Still not got it yet, gonna get a new laptop for it (mine is frankly struggling with 24 now). Feel like I'll hate it initially but will probably get used to it - wouldn't be the first time.
-
Still think people like Horncastle are underpromoted. These people actually teach you things about football.
-
We've won 1 game in 10. Even if 6 points would get us into the top six (it wouldn't as others will pick up points) where are the signs that the play-offs are coming? We're getting worse if anything.
-
Honestly think English sides underperform in Europe relative to the money they spend. Think they generally dominate in the group stage / league phase but often come unstuck in the knockouts. Real Madrid do a lot of heavy lifting though. Think German teams underperform. They so frequently get absolutely battered. Frankfurt and Dortmund's showings against Liverpool and Man City in the last two rounds - someone like West Ham would've been harder to beat and they're rubbish.
-
This isn't a dig and more a question, to anyone really, but this points deduction - when is it even coming if at all? In November now I thought we'd know a little bit more, by now.
-
You don't think it will? I'd say it'll fool more than it won't.
-
It will have the worst possible effect - it'll fool those on the fence while they continue to just cross their fingers it gets better.
