  1. Scotland have had every bit of luck they could possibly have had in this qualifying group but to go through like that I find it hard to knock them at all, incredible stuff and why you get into football in the first place.
  2. He's also given Rudkin a get out of jail card. Absolve him of responsibility.
  3. Correct. It's everything I expected. Extremely confident that it ages terribly and nothing actually improves and think those who think this is some sort of upturn are massively coping.
  4. Bit similar to Sam Allardyce who was quite innovative at the time. Though he fully embraces that rep now.
  5. Was on holiday for that Palace game, was gutted to miss it. God I was so happy when he came back, complete travesty he went in the first place. He left us in a fantastic position, if I was sure he was still up to that I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
  6. They don't help themselves do they.
  7. When I say that the standards at the club have been reduced this is kind of what I'm alluding to - a video of largely nothing, a gradual improvement, is treated the way it is. That's how you know the decline really has kicked in.
  8. This is more like it. More what I was expecting.
  9. Think Fulham put paid to that. He was on a bit of a hiding to nothing in all honesty.
  10. Actually agree with this in a very backwards and sadistic way
  11. The whole thing was a massive step backwards from LCFC. We acted really tinpot and desperate putting him above the club. Look how Brighton dealt with De Zerbi for example, who was starting to pull similar tricks.
  12. Maxime Esteve has
  13. There are people out there who will try and tell you Rodgers wasn't trying to get sacked.
  14. Expecting plenty of sales - after all that's why we've been playing them, to put them in the shop window apparently.
  15. Seriously how have Southampton not sorted this out with Bazunu, he had even worse stats than Danny Ward. Bloke's utter rubbish. Still's probably cost himself a job by not fixing it.
  16. Would be very on brand for us to lose this and then sack him - that would make it 4 managers in 6 who got sacked just after an international break.
  17. Honestly quite surprised by some of this - they're smaller than I thought they were. Their support and their stadium does a lot of heavy lifting for them.
  18. You would think a top club would come in for him then no?
  19. I don't follow, where is the so called best in the business on this list?
  20. Bit ambitious but got a flight to Istanbul in a fortnight and hoping we can somehow fluke it to Fenerbahce v Galatasaray. Will at least do Karagumruk v Besiktas while there - they actually play at the Ataturk (where Liverpool & Man City won the Champions League) and average crowds of about 3,000 so think we'll be alright getting one
  21. This is Norwich as well. It's hardly Leeds or Everton.
  22. I can't personally accept unaccountability from the club. Aiyawatt bodged it big time in 2022/23 but even worse than that was he let those responsible just continue. If I'd seen evidence of a proper shake-up I don't think I'd be as against him as I am as I'd at least see he was trying to fix things. Even Mandaric, as much as he bodged it up made necessary changes and actually left us in a better place than he found us in. Aiyawatt's odds of doing that are about as likely as consecutive lottery wins. Their MO just seems to be continue in the face of absolutely everything regardless of the collateral damage and a sizeable chunk of our fanbase have no issue with this. It's as damaging a set of circumstances in the long run imaginable.
  23. From a club who've had a fraction of our decline as well.
