  1. Got a horrible feeling they’ll go Van Der Bergh though which will be a borefest over the more entertaining Heta
  2. Two too many, lose your last two and I think you’re spot on.
  3. True. But I don’t think it’s a total capitulation is my point. The busts have been bizarre
  4. Music choice on them is top notch too
  5. He’s averaging around 100 mate hahaha
  6. The way littler has barely got out of (his own) second gear in this tournament and has kept everyone at arms length is ridiculous.
  7. I can give you three from a long time ago, Mahrez to City, Maddison from Norwich, Rodgers from Celtic. Ayew and Edouard last summer. He was the first to all. He’s a bit hit and miss but he’s not the useless source some on here make him out to be.
  8. Nixon breaks a lot on us but there seems to be this misconception on here that he’s useless I say it every window
  9. Ward would still be trying to lift his leg in reaction to the top save Jakub made 10mins before.
  10. Because some come at the recommendation of our head of recruitment, Some come at the recommendation of the Manager and some come from our DOFs cushty relationships with certain agents. Was pretty clear which of this summers signings came from Cooper.
  11. If there’s no link to Ruud, this stinks of the club getting their ducks in a row (A Christmas miracle, I know) for next summer. Barry-Murphy is very highly regarded and has been linked to championship jobs in his own right.
  12. I felt sorry for him until you stop and realise he's been picking up his cushty wage packet for 2 years now as a third choice keeper, even in the championship. No ambition as a footballer.
  13. The bloke is bizarre, he's not shit in the sense he's error prone and chucks them into his net, but every single shot on target is a goal its honestly baffling
  14. Today that was years of poorly run football club unravelling on one pitch. One goalkeeper on a ridiculous wage that should have been out of the door two years ago, Two full backs bereft of confidence that desperately need to come out of the side with no one to replace them, three Steve Cooper signings worth 30m and 150k+ wages stinking the place out and a new manager chasing his tail trying to work out his best system and team mid season mid relegation battle. There was a total lack of desire today, but it was mainly on the workings of one man and one man only. Out.
  15. Saw Kingy’s instagram post and thought Ruud had pulled a masterstroke for a second, then I noticed he said young players.
  16. Not sure I’d ever say our main strength under Rodgers was counter attacking but whatever
  17. Been quite good since United in the cup tbh, was the best of a bad bunch that night too.
  18. Every manager that’s come in (Barring enzo, presumably because he showed no desire to play championship football) has seen something in him in training to want to play him from the off. I think Coady has said as much about him on talksport iirc? Theres so clearly a player in there, it just needs to be translated into some consistency in a match day. At least from the aspect of intensity/desire.
  19. Can’t fully take the credit, saw someone on twitter say “he made Verbruggen” and noticed he’d followed Verbruggen through Breda, Dutch Youth Teams and Anderlecht
  20. I think it might have been a situation with Bart Verbruggen (Brighton)… the two have got the same career path. I would presume Verbruggen joined Anderlecht and asked them to bring in his previous goalkeeping coach - and then Kompany ended up taking a liking to him.
  21. Thought there was couple of new faces on the bench last night from where I was sat. Alcock was always defo going to go, he’s fully coopers man. I imagine Dawson and Hughes will stick around having been club recruited and compensation paid for.
  22. Big clubs pay a lot of money for keepers like him. The saves were incredible, but that pass where he broke the West Ham press with a pass to Soumare in the first half, that’s why he’ll be a champions league keeper this time next year.
  23. Actually quite surprised at the low level of praise in here from the majority to be honest, I thought that was his best game in a Leicester shirt by some distance. Immense. Doing that more consistently is another matter though.
  24. That’s literally all Daka needs to do, I can handle him being a bit technically poor but when you’ve got that much pace just give us that desire and intensity and the results will come. So happy for him.
  25. Player without a real run of games comes in to an awfully performing side and doesn’t do well, shock, instantly becomes scapegoat. Seems fair.
