  1. Noticed this earlier. But has got rid of all his England stuff too FWIW.
  2. You did yeah, been a lot of stuff on twitter about Aluko. I haven’t seen evans either.
  3. Do we know if Evans has gone to the USA? Might explain his absence. Hopefully he’s in Brighton instead.
  4. I presume he’s been pulled from the England U16 tournament he’s been called up for over the next few weeks based on Ruud’s comments…
  5. He doesn’t want to stay or wants to entertain a future. He’s implying it so top knows it’s “pay up in full or I’m not walking”.
  6. Can’t be bothered on debating what I’m about to say because I know some of you feel really strongly about him, but I wouldn’t mind Martin. Spoke really well on MNF and Linekers podcasts in recent weeks, and he’d do really well with us at Championship level - he HAS to show a level of adaption at lower levels of the premier league though. Order of preference for me: 1. Rosenior 2. Martin 3. Rohl But I really like the shouts of Ancelotti and Cuesta too, two appointments in the mould/experience level of Maresca. Restart that process that would have worked out so much better than the current one.
  7. Maresca merely having an actual style of play (no matter what you think of it in particular) and his man management and actually having certain players on his side would have made night and day difference to where we are right now. Recruitment would have been entirely different too. We’d be on more points than Ipswich at the very least. But overall, it’s a moot point, because without him and KDH going we’d be in a world of PSR shit. But yes, he’d of been better.
  8. A reminder Liverpool still haven’t paid up for Nyoni. Don’t get too attached to him or the idea of receiving any kind of decent fee. Great to see him make his debut though, I’d have left at half time if he wasn’t on the bench.
  9. We’ll be lucky to get that if he doesn’t sign a contract and goes to a domestic club.
  10. It’s nothing to do with his age it’s nothing to do with his school. It’s the politics of him not signing the contract on the table and/or talking to other clubs ahead of the summer. They did this with Tavares back in the day too when we were all crying out for him to get more minutes. Pretty sure they were open about doing the same with Wanya last season.
  11. They’re all dogshit. Lumping him with winks like he’s done anything wrong is just a bit weird tho.
  12. Skipp’s literally done nothing wrong Just a victim of his price tag.
  13. Not watching. Saw the line up before I even realised we were 1-0 down. Will stick to watching the scousers.
  14. It’s defo not meant to be football as you know it though, they literally use the “new age of football” tag thing themselves. I get it’s not your or anyone else’s thing and that’s fine, the kids will and are lapping it up. I feel like it’s past even my own demographic as an U30, the production is a bit much - but like I said I’m just quite enjoying seeing football played with some expression.
  15. It's decent, shines a light on some of the talent in non league (which the majority of the players come from). Plus it's nice to actually see some football expression, not the robotic stuff we're forced to watch in the Premier League. Think a lot of people that are moaning and don't have a lot of good to say about it don't quite appreciate the young demographic it's aimed at. It's less the Masters Football of 15 years ago, and more like the Kings League over in Spain that Gerard Pique is absolutely raking cash in for. The bloke that created this has done really well with it in Germany, it's a bit unpolished as the first UK version but they'll get there.
  16. No point in even speculating (or anticipating) because the powers that be are useless. Even the recent remotely decent appointment in Enzo was right under their nose and had the same agent as Vardy and their number one target, Potter.
  17. Poorly mismanaged. Had crap loans and never had a manager willing to try and get the best out of him. The rest of our kids will probably go the same way at this rate. Would be willing to give him a proper go next year.
  18. He’s always had a cracking left foot, if he had a bit more athleticism he’d be a top draw attacking wing back.
  19. Presumably there’s some sort of political sticking point with Monga about a move away or signing a new contract but honestly we’re past the point of that now, this lad has something to contribute towards us trying to survive.
  20. Was having this conversation with my old man on the way home. If back in the day when we had a leadership group of Morgan, Kasper, Huth and Fuchs you’d of said Vardy will be club captain in 10 years you wouldn’t have believed it. Deserves the armband yea, leads by example yes, a proper leader? No.
  21. I don't think anyone keeps this group up. Some might argue someone like Dyche might do the job, but long term it would be suicide. The lot needs to be ripped apart and started again, I don't want to be stuck with a firefighter style appointment with that ahead of us. Let Ruud see the job out and build something of his own in the summer (Which at this point wouldn't be my preference) or go and find another Maresca (someone with a plan) to rip it apart and start again.
  22. Hermansen, Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Soumaré, Reid, Ayew, Bilal, Vardy
  23. Hermansen, Justin, Faes, Okoli, Thomas, De Cordova-Reid, Ndidi, Soumaré, El Khannouss, Ayew, Daka Subs: Coady, Winks, Mavididi, Skipp, Coulibaly, McAteer, Buonanotte, Stolarczyk, Monga in full.
  24. Also hearing Evans not on the bench. Joke
