  1. As opposed to the previous and recent solutions being round pegs?
  2. Protest over a boycott. Inside and outside of the ground.
  3. This is a generational performance from Ayew I reckon Cifuentes up top himself would do a better job
  4. Get up Ayew. Offering square root of fvck all.
  5. A second is coming whilst they’re this open.
  6. They’re getting incredibly lucky when getting turned over and/or caught on the break. We’re going to get one right sooner or later.
  7. Who do you reckon wins a foot race between Vestergaard and Ayew
  8. Jesus wept this is the best we’ve popped the ball around all year… is Maresca moonlighting?!
  9. Might be the allocation they gave, but that looks like our smallest away end at cov…. Ever?
  10. This is exactly my point though. It’s just reverting to type to be “safe”. Understand Aluko would have took serious balls, but Page should be starting after the last few games between them both. Page should be starting. Ayew will do exactly what he did in the home game against these, drop too deep, attract them to play a stupidly high line and press us high as they want - thus probably forcing a mistake from a back line, with no Vestergaard in it, trying to play out.
  11. Line up of a manager scared to lose his job. Spineless.
  12. Considerable considering the side of town you’re from. I reckon at least one of them a week gets in my way in Tesco.
  13. They’re missing few, Bobby Thomas, Kessler-Hayden, Thomas-Asante and Torp. Live score app predicts they start a young lad in midfield. Wouldn’t be surprised if we turn up today.
  14. Gotta feel for palace, even in our best times we never had our best two players and manager pushing to leave in January. Rancid. They’re missing Freedman no doubt, losing so many good players and not having one of the most underrated DOFs in the country still around to replace them is a pretty honking combination.
  15. Should be in for Barkley and Fofana who are being touted for Championship moves, we won’t be though of course.
  16. Played as many games at right back for them as he did in defensive midfield - achieving a higher rating at right back. Source: whoscored.com
  17. I think Sheff Utd fans would disagree based on what they watched last season, traditional Right Back - Choudhury is effective, start asking him to invert and get involved in possession (probably half the reason you move him from his natural midfield position in the first place) he gets found out.
  18. I mean this is just a stupid shout, I’ll champion a youth/homegrown player as much as the next man. But this is just stupid. One was a championship fan favourite at Sheffield United last season, one is playing league 2 - this/last season. Don’t let your agendas get in the way of a bit of hyperbole folks.
  19. I mean I can't be bothered to look back intensively over his time here, but surely ear cupping his own fans as an obvious example? to a degree, he should be able to give back whatever he receives, but I think that's just one of many examples of god awful body language within the last 3/4 years here. I don't actually think he's an "awful" player, contrary to much belief, but it's just never been a right fit at this period. Ultimately I would guess he's a "decent fella", he probably is to people at Seagrave, but his body language here will be his legacy unfortunately.
  20. Yeah, as posted above there is plenty off examples where people have transcended sports, don't really think its relevant. Woodward is just one example, But I am quite example Brailsford hasn't seen more success at United - maybe they're just a rotten apple.
  21. Wouldn’t be a good shout if available on loan - but feel we’re pretty set in midfield right now and Neil wouldn’t accept a bit part role.
  22. I think there’s a difference between those two. JJ got shit for going through periods of playing poorly despite being a decent lad to have around the place, Faes gets shit for playing poorly and being a prized bellend at the same time. JJ might have got and unfair ride, Faes definitely doesn’t.
  23. Said at the time he wasn’t one I’d have sold, but we clearly entertained money for whoever was attracting attention (outside of key players). Fresh start has obviously done him good.
  24. Fitness coaches aren't really comparable in this conversation, sport cross over jobs happen all the time within that sector. A couple of our S&C coaches during the Pearson era came from a rugby background.
