Going off today, you know what, maybe this bloke has done a decent job shielding that absolute moron from opening his mouth as much as possible. Top must be a nightmare to work with in that job. (tongue in cheek for the avoidance of doubt) -
Is there any KPFC around in any threads today, I fancy a laugh to prevent my crying
-
Took a long time for him to even appear on the list iirc.
-
Oh yeah you’re right, that one that got sacked by and relegated Luton!
-
Probably only be 2 points ahead of them by Saturday. Wouldn’t throw that much shade on em.
-
Nice to see you’ve only read what you wanted to over the last two pages.

Getting to the phase where even Otchere is worth a look -
Cov fans are singing “you’re going down with the Leicester” to Norwich. Have a good evening everyone.

This. Bored of people judging managers on their last job and not considering circumstance. Look at the bigger picture and park the pub opinion.
-
Rowett until the end of the season (interim) is fine, anything more and this ownership has fallen for another long hanging fruit trap.
-
King or Rowett would be an interesting vote, not that we need another thread.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-15498737/Leicester-consider-former-midfielder-managed-Millwall-Oxford-replace-Marti-Cifuentes-axed-Championship-strugglers.html has this actually been posted yet? Tom Collomosse reporting Gary Rowett and Derek McInnes (like he’d leave Hearts right now ) in this article.

Despite this being wrong in terms of where modern football is at, you are still totally right.

Could imagine Top wanting Pearson back as he's out of ideas and desperate, Would imagine Pearson see's right through Rudkin at this point, as will many that we give a phone call to.

Nearly bit at this then remembered the reference

Just trying to go down the candidates list on the betting and trying to apply to sense and logic to it... Unlikely/no chance/unrealistic: Ralph Hassenhutl, Steven Gerrard, Patrick Vieira, Bruno Lage, Gareth Southgate, Jon Dahl Thomasson, Ange Postecoglou, Marco Rose, Vitor Pereira, Erik Ten Hag Has a job, we're not paying compensation: Gary O'Neil, Lee Carsley, Robbie Keane, Michael Skubala, Jesse Marsch, David Wagner, Paul Heckingbottom, Gio Van Bronckhorst, Alex Revell, Alex Neil, Dean Smith, Chris Wilder, Graham Alexander, Brian Barry-Murphy, Carlos Corberan, Kevin Muscat, Paddy McCarthy, Richie Wellens, Dave Challinor, Chris Davies, Kjetil Knutsen, Craig Bellamy Too young or inexperienced, Based on reports we want experience: Michael Beale, Will Still, Damien Duff, Wayne Rooney, Ryan Mason, Alan Sheehan, Robbie Savage, John O'Shea Realistic, would probably come, and experienced: Russell Martin, Tony Mowbray Gary Rowett, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Nigel Pearson (can't bring myself to put him in unlikely), Steve Bruce, Neil Critchley, Tony Pulis, Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink, Slaven Bilic That last category makes grim reading apart from a few.

Totally moot point as it’s not happening in a million years anyway, but Southgate is nothing without Steve Holland - Michael Carrick is reaping the benefits of him now.
-
Say what you like about Farage but he’s made more signings in this window than Rudkin has in 2 years

But what's the answer? We don't have a target man style striker that can make a ball stick to go more direct, we don't have enough pace at the back to press super high and play a high line (nor the energy up front - looking at you Ayew), we don't have flying fit pacey wing backs to play a 3-at-the-back wing back system. What you're seeing in terms of the set up is a result of the shocking squad we've assembled - not only in terms of its attitude and desire, but also in terms of the profile of players any manager has to work with - its a mix and match squad of poor quality. I don't know what the solution is.

Can we not go for OPA here, We all know they'd of had their questions reviewed and altered beforehand, we all know Anthony would have been perched on the shoulder of the camera ready to step in at any point. Not the BBC's fault, don't fall for the dictatorship. No one is getting an interview with him without stipulations or moderation.

Bet he thought he’d played a blinder arranging those interviews today, only to get into work and find out Top/Rudkin were there to sack the manager. Can only imagine the panic. -
King won’t bring him back in, any new bloke probably would though.
-
What's helping Carrick right now is Steve Holland. A reputable and experienced coach. I would guess Holland is doing a lot of the coaching and maybe even tactics - Carrick is being the man manager and the face. We could do with a similar dynamic if we're going with Kingy.
