Hahahahaha that is abysmal, we have a potential golden generation of youth talent as one of the only things going for us and people want this as our manager
-
Spot on. With the next manager having to turf out 10 big lumps that he’s brought in that can’t pass or dribble a ball 5 yards.
-
Carsley has a lot going for him in terms of being a good fit to what we need. - Believes in attractive football - but isn’t slow and robotic like Enzo (boring our fans) - Has a mega emphasis on giving youth an opportunity (hard to say if he’d do this in a club role as this would be his first, but I believe he would) which is exactly needed to start again. - Seemed like the senior England lads loved him during that short spell, and the U21s that have worked under him worship the ground he walks on, gets players on side - Great knowledge of young players in this country to raid the loan market next season Sure, he was a bit bland in the press, but are we really arsed about that? I get why it’s more important for the England job where you’re playing diplomatic politician all the time. Really impressed me during his England spell. Sure the Greece game set up was an error, but was purely and experimental line up that every England fan wanted to see anyway.

Thought exactly the same. Polar opposite opinions in this thread. They’ve got no hope.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Surely gardening leave until the next PSR/financial period is the play here? Guess you don’t really see it much in the modern game but don’t see how that’s not the solution? -

He’s not going to be here next season. Baffling why they aren’t pulling the trigger now though. -
Just seen that when I googled him. Defo coming to a job near you this summer.
-
Matter of time until Will Still ends up over here, not sure what kind of job he’d expect over here that would actually take a chance on him though. Although Ligue 1 is supposedly in a world of shit financially, could be why Rosenior is seemingly open to the idea of getting out of there.
-
He would I think, he’s obsessed with youth development. I think that’s why he’s never gone for a club job, and I’d be surprised if he did now to be fair.
-
Carsley could be exactly what this club needs but I don’t see it being possible. He’s pretty intent on retaining the Euros this summer, final for that is on the 28th June. Won’t happen.

Burns my eyeballs when I see Dyche suggested. Couldn’t be further away from what we need. Doesn’t have faith in youth at a time when we need to prioritise it for the sake of our own sanity, future and finances. Leaves every club with a rigid mess of technically limited players leaving the next manager needing to turn it upside down to create any semblance of attractive football. Even David ****in Moyes has gone in to Everton saying he needs new players to play a bit differently. But yeah bring him in because he’ll fall out with a few people and make em run a bit more in pre-season 🇬🇧.

Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official
Aleksz replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Defence has to be built around this lad next year, as cynical as it sounds he's our next £30m+ golden ticket. -
Christ alive, you'd think some of our lot would look to hold on to any hope we do have and Alves is one of them. The lad is 19 years old, in his first championship loan, already one of Cardiff's better players and is very highly rated by those in power at the FA, all off the back of having his left snapped in half. Give it a rest for christ sake.

Discussions being… "do you want to take the reduced relegation pay off now and call it a day" "no" "ok we'll wait". -
Noticed this earlier. But has got rid of all his England stuff too FWIW.

Do we know if Evans has gone to the USA? Might explain his absence. Hopefully he’s in Brighton instead. -
I presume he’s been pulled from the England U16 tournament he’s been called up for over the next few weeks based on Ruud’s comments…
-
He doesn’t want to stay or wants to entertain a future. He’s implying it so top knows it’s “pay up in full or I’m not walking”.
-
Can’t be bothered on debating what I’m about to say because I know some of you feel really strongly about him, but I wouldn’t mind Martin. Spoke really well on MNF and Linekers podcasts in recent weeks, and he’d do really well with us at Championship level - he HAS to show a level of adaption at lower levels of the premier league though. Order of preference for me: 1. Rosenior 2. Martin 3. Rohl But I really like the shouts of Ancelotti and Cuesta too, two appointments in the mould/experience level of Maresca. Restart that process that would have worked out so much better than the current one.
-
How much did Chelsea ruin us this season?
Aleksz replied to An Away Move's topic in Leicester City Forum
Maresca merely having an actual style of play (no matter what you think of it in particular) and his man management and actually having certain players on his side would have made night and day difference to where we are right now. Recruitment would have been entirely different too. We’d be on more points than Ipswich at the very least. But overall, it’s a moot point, because without him and KDH going we’d be in a world of PSR shit. But yes, he’d of been better. -
A reminder Liverpool still haven’t paid up for Nyoni. Don’t get too attached to him or the idea of receiving any kind of decent fee. Great to see him make his debut though, I’d have left at half time if he wasn’t on the bench.
-
We’ll be lucky to get that if he doesn’t sign a contract and goes to a domestic club.
