Unless he commits to a pro deal. Which I imagine will be the next bump in the road when his agent starts playing silly bollocks.
-
Not sure I agree we need to buy some sort of competition for him. He’s more than reliable enough. Go and get me LCFC player of the year 22/23, Alex Smithies on a free to sit on the bench or something.
-
All the top clubs in Europe are queuing up for him. He doesn’t have to sign a pro deal until he’s 17, until he’s on a pro deal clubs can come and offer him the world and there’s not a lot we can do about it. If he goes to an English club it will go to a tribunal to decide how much is paid (but it’s usually a pathetic amount of money - we’d probably be lucky to get more than £5m). I think a foreign club can swoop in and take him for even less, if not free? Might be wrong on that though.

Presume Wellens doesn’t play in this now with a play-off on Saturday and Weds. -
Something incredibly calming about him in net. Love him. Will be a great no.1 next year.

He’d be doing so much more than he is in terms of decisions and body language if he was staying. I.E picking line ups for next season… or engaging with the fans more (disappeared off down the tunnel again today). Bloke knows he’s not going to be here, no idea what the club is playing at with him, -
That Vardy goal saved the Rudkin out chants from growing even louder than they already were today. Loudest they’ve been at home.
-
To be fair it seems to instigated by one bloke with an agenda but there’s a few nodding along.
-
Theoretically - could he stay, become an integral player in the championship next year, and leave for peanuts on a tribunal next summer as he can leave the club hanging on a pro deal until he’s 17? Thought of that’s pretty sickening. Presumably the club will say to him he’ll have to commit to a pro deal this summer to be a part of next season.

Getting a few pelters from Cardiff fans on twitter.

Sack him before kick off.

Sack him before kick off.

Something feels a bit cowardice about him hiding that in his (I’m sure totally written by him) programme notes. Should have been a statement on the website and all socials the minute relegation was confirmed.
-
Oh I fully know what the likelihood is. If Ruud had anything about him and really was “planning for the future” though, it’s obvious what he should be doing.
-
Really hoping for a Monga start and a few of the kids on the bench here. If he starts Ayew and there’s only enough room on the bench for Monga it’ll totally ruin the only appealing factor of the day for me. Come on Ruud do something right for once.

Think in those highlights above from that Southampton game he already looks like he’s filling out a bit. Has a great combative foil in Cartwright next to him too. -
The bloke will have an absolute cigar on in the championship next year. He’s never worth the fee we paid but that’s not his fault. Think people should be directing the agenda towards the board in his case and not the player.

Jakub Justin Coady Okoli/Faes Thomas Skipp/Soumare Ndidi McAteer Bilal Monga Vardy Ward, Faes, Coulibaly, Aluko, Soumare, Cartwright, Golding, Evans, Daka Realistically, you’d think…

I know he gets a lot of shit on here as a source, but Nixon reporting that Martin is choosing between us and rangers.
-
I get the impression by the way some of the content seems to have been filmed on one of the previous evenings that he’s made a very sudden decision on this one. We all saw that instagram post on Monday and how pissed off it came across, I think the relegation/manner of it over the last couple of months has fully made his mind up and was the straw that broke the camels back.

2:52:25 onwards for the comment in particular
-
Give it a rest, he’s done it once already and the club didn’t keep their end of the deal and neglected it.
-
You just know they’re reading this thread too. Makes it even worse.
-
He hangs out the back of Forest and Nottingham itself a lot, goes their games for his own entertainment, weirdo. Probably more Forest than Cooper was which is enough to tip a lot of our lot over the edge

This clubs future is somehow even more on its arse if they appoint Dyche. Bye Monga, Evans, Nelson, Alves. Hello Michael Keane, Ashley Young and Ashley Barnes.
