No Game time for Monga / Rudd stands by contract if relegated.
Aleksz replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s nothing to do with his age it’s nothing to do with his school. It’s the politics of him not signing the contract on the table and/or talking to other clubs ahead of the summer. They did this with Tavares back in the day too when we were all crying out for him to get more minutes. Pretty sure they were open about doing the same with Wanya last season. -
They’re all dogshit. Lumping him with winks like he’s done anything wrong is just a bit weird tho.
-
Skipp’s literally done nothing wrong Just a victim of his price tag.
-
Not watching. Saw the line up before I even realised we were 1-0 down. Will stick to watching the scousers.

It’s defo not meant to be football as you know it though, they literally use the “new age of football” tag thing themselves. I get it’s not your or anyone else’s thing and that’s fine, the kids will and are lapping it up. I feel like it’s past even my own demographic as an U30, the production is a bit much - but like I said I’m just quite enjoying seeing football played with some expression.

It's decent, shines a light on some of the talent in non league (which the majority of the players come from). Plus it's nice to actually see some football expression, not the robotic stuff we're forced to watch in the Premier League. Think a lot of people that are moaning and don't have a lot of good to say about it don't quite appreciate the young demographic it's aimed at. It's less the Masters Football of 15 years ago, and more like the Kings League over in Spain that Gerard Pique is absolutely raking cash in for. The bloke that created this has done really well with it in Germany, it's a bit unpolished as the first UK version but they'll get there.

No point in even speculating (or anticipating) because the powers that be are useless. Even the recent remotely decent appointment in Enzo was right under their nose and had the same agent as Vardy and their number one target, Potter.
-
Poorly mismanaged. Had crap loans and never had a manager willing to try and get the best out of him. The rest of our kids will probably go the same way at this rate. Would be willing to give him a proper go next year.
-
He’s always had a cracking left foot, if he had a bit more athleticism he’d be a top draw attacking wing back.

Presumably there’s some sort of political sticking point with Monga about a move away or signing a new contract but honestly we’re past the point of that now, this lad has something to contribute towards us trying to survive. -
Was having this conversation with my old man on the way home. If back in the day when we had a leadership group of Morgan, Kasper, Huth and Fuchs you’d of said Vardy will be club captain in 10 years you wouldn’t have believed it. Deserves the armband yea, leads by example yes, a proper leader? No.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Aleksz replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think anyone keeps this group up. Some might argue someone like Dyche might do the job, but long term it would be suicide. The lot needs to be ripped apart and started again, I don't want to be stuck with a firefighter style appointment with that ahead of us. Let Ruud see the job out and build something of his own in the summer (Which at this point wouldn't be my preference) or go and find another Maresca (someone with a plan) to rip it apart and start again. -
Hermansen, Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Soumaré, Reid, Ayew, Bilal, Vardy

Hermansen, Justin, Faes, Okoli, Thomas, De Cordova-Reid, Ndidi, Soumaré, El Khannouss, Ayew, Daka Subs: Coady, Winks, Mavididi, Skipp, Coulibaly, McAteer, Buonanotte, Stolarczyk, Monga in full.

Also hearing Evans not on the bench. Joke

1000% This is the kind of appointment they’ll make if they’re moving Rudkin out of his role, that being the key phrase because he’s never leaving the business. He’ll be moved into a broader director role or something like “Head of King Power Sports” that will encompass LCFC, Leuven and anything else they add to the portfolio. Nothing against Friend, I’m sure we don’t know enough about him to judge him but this would strike as a yes man appointment who won’t have enough standing in the role due to his inexperience to really challenge anything. Similar to what the FA do with the England teams. Also, side note, Wes Morgan completed his sporting director qualifications and we let him go to Forest. Bloke should have had a job for life here and he’d of been ideal for this kind of appointment. I’d imagine Wes sees right through the shit show though.

They probably do have a plan to be fair, whether it’s a good one or not, but not communicating it is killing any trust there was left completely.
-
Sky saying not happening so we can all save our energy on this for now.
-
You seriously think the bloke/his team that’s brought Bilal, Hermansen and Fatawu to the table has gone to Rudkin saying he’s found Craig Dawson? This stinks of Rudkin gobbling up some agent spiel or discussions with another DOF, yet again.

Another Edouard-esque deal on a silly loan fee and even more silly wage no doubt
-
Who are we actually going to get better than him though

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Aleksz replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If Buonanotte goes back due to Ruud’s mismanagement then pitchforks need to be out. -
Quickest finish to a transfer thread ever

How in earth we weren’t in for Marcus Edwards on a foreign club loan with an 8m obligation is absolutely beyond me. Especially considering Ruud supposedly wanted a winger.
