  1. The lessons from two years ago need learning first - a full overhaul of those running the club, a new CEO that is allowed to be a CEO, a new DoF with fresh energy, and above all, a clear strategy for the type of club we aspire to be. Anything else is papering over cracks.
  2. Wow. The club sleep-walked to the most avoidable relegation in PL history, and is likely to suffer a second in three seasons. Avoided PSR charges due to badly written PL and EFL rulebooks. £25 charges to retain a physical season ticket card that supporters already possessed. A gambling company shirt sponsor. A back-line that was found so badly wanting in said relegation season is unchanged with limited to no investment. A centre half who couldn’t make that back-line has been given a new three-year contract. A goalkeeper that was found so badly wanting in said relegation season is still at the club, and clumsily allowed to be re-integrated into the starting XI for one of the most important games of the season. The logic of appointing possession-based managers either side of the safety-first Cooper. … This is an absolutely fair list of concerns, and the radio silence approach taken by the club means these concerns have now taken deep root. It’s 100% on the club that this toxicity has developed in recent years, and fully understandable that the fanbase is now willing holding the club to account when the club has shown absolutely no desire to do that themselves.
  3. Your argument for opposing this motion appears to be solely based on claim(s) that other Trusts don’t do it, which is a bit like shopping for a new car, only to buy a bicycle because your next door neighbour doesn’t drive. It’s daft, and the optics - at a critical juncture for the Trust as the AGM approaches - are rather bad to put it mildly. You’re either not listening to, or not recognising, the critical need for reform. Which only makes the argument for reform ever stronger.
  4. It absolutely is - he has the best view of Savinho, Justin is tied up with Bernardo and should’ve made a parry out for a corner
  5. Amazing piece of artwork- you’ve gotta be in it to win it…!

  12. Two of whom have no football background, brilliant
  13. He might not personally send off all the forms but the buck ultimately stops with him. Financially that has cost the club millions, on top of the risk of maintaining a competitive level in the PL with a much reduced midfield. I'm amazed the club has let this slip by the wayside
  14. Hope UnionFS take a lead on this tonight and the crowd can send a clear message to the owners

  16. Would rather have Pearson than Shakespeare in charge at the moment!
  17. I always thought the 90s was a terrible decade for football kits but the 2010s is winning hands down
  18. Those odds are so bad for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool! Chelsea heavy favourites for me
  19. The top teams in the PL are streets behind these two at the moment, it's been a great watch
  20. My poor choice of words then; I wasn't backing the extreme lengths to which they responded, more that if they choose to deal with (perceived) threats proactively as opposed to standing off, that is their prerogative. Hope that clarifies.
  21. I don't think anybody is condoning that.
  22. I witnessed most of Wednesday's events first hand - the minority of "fans" were asking for trouble and quite frankly they got it. Would agree that the police response could've been a lot more diplomatic, but it's their country and they can police it how they see fit. Nobody was forced to be in Spain; we were all visitors and therefore we respect our hosts. Throwing beer and chanting about Gibraltar was anything but. I wouldn't go as far as saying I "support" the police conduct but I do err on their side rather than the animals that brought shame on our great club.
