He didn't get much of the ball to be fair. They would sometimes double up. But on the flip side he helped out Choudhury and Pereira double up on their LW (mainly Gray) sometimes.

I think with how officiating is reviewed these days it would have definitely got upgraded with VAR. Feet off the floor, over the ball and high on the foot/ankle.

Fine having Ayew around if he's not gonna be sold, but he cannot be our starting striker every game after Monday. Lone striker isn't his forte. Not even close. Have him support a striker fine. But anything other than that no thanks.

Think he's doing alright with what he has. Get Winks on and hopefully Page will be more involved.

Half time. Strong start and to take the lead, but since then it's been a bit dull. Soumare has been good defensively. We have absolutely no outlet other than Fatawu. I'd bring Winks on for Skipp because he's doing fvck all on or off the ball. At least with Winks on we'll get the ball forward much quicker. Mavididi needs more of the ball because he's had very little. It's one of those games again where if he doesn't see a lot of it, he's a bit shaky when he does get it. Need more urgency and not be so cautious. It'll only invite pressure and eventually be worn down.
