Survivor's guilt x200ish for the rest of his life. Feel sorry for him for what he's had to witness and visualise but he's alive. If what he recollects is true, it's mad how his side sounds like it was relatively unscathed despite the explosion, and he said it didn't hit the building but straight to the ground. Suppose in the heat of the moment what he remembers might be a bit hazy!

Bit of a dearth of strikers anyway - looking at Wiki and there's Dane Scarlett, Joe Gelhardt and perhaps Sam Greenwood as central forwards recently called up. In the squad for the tournament - there's only really Jay Stansfield as the out and out striker. Everyone else seems to be a wide forward or winger.

With the black box, is it just the cockpit recordings that investigators will hear, or any other comms from around the plane?

Yeah we're talking near 0% chance in all scenarios surely. But if it was on impact, it almost erupts into the fireball straight away. That's surely instant death too!

Yep. Hard to fathom how and when he's done it but he'll eventually be thankful for it. I hope he doesn't have a lot of emotional scarring after this but it's almost inevitable.

I didn't like earlier BBC were speculating about how much this might cost Boeing, and started mentioning how people km the 737s were killed in two separate crashes. Speculating about what might have happened on today's tragic incident in terms of plane malfunctions etc.

Apparently 1 survivor according to latest reports. Insane if anyone survives it but fingers crossed there are more to come. The initial videos and pictures are horrific. Can't imagine experiencing that, let alone going about your day job and having a plane smash into your street.
