Another superb goal once he had the space to work with and run at his defender. Nearly had a hand in helping us lose the lead though with some amateur play on the sideline. Saw Vestergaard have a massive go at home for it (rightly) and then Cifuentes seemed to have a long chat with him after being subbed.

Agree. Some of the blocks from their shots showed it. And Stolarczyk making saves like he did today adds to it. You'd hope this breeds a bit of confidence but it's not something to be totally relied upon. It's a good foundation to have knowing that that grit and determination is in there somewhere. Shouldn't be used as an excuse for a poor performance, too.

Distribution does need improving but I'd rather my goalkeeper make saves like he does all game today rather than be able to ping a 45 yard ball right onto a players foot or chest.

He wasn't the worst. Which is progress. Still lacks awareness on and off the ball and I dot think that'll ever change. Doesn't help having gormless and useless Skipp next to him.

Deserved MOTM. If we could defend corners and win headers perhaps he's not as needed as much. But did the job when called upon. The save from Coventry in first half was excellent.

Quiet, no mistakes. Didn't really get a chance of getting on the ball alot because of how the game panned out.

Properly ground that out. Jakub redeems himself from last week. Superb saves and helped with the goal. 3 points and a clean sheet. Fortunate to perhaps win it without conceding. They had far more chances to score from. Creativity still a big problem. A win is a win though. That's all that matters. A goal worthy of winning a match.
