Find it very odd that not one journo has had a leak as to who it might be. There's almost always a leak the night before so for it to be kept quiet all this time surprises me. Whether it's us or other clubs.

Shouldn't be with McAteer. Guy is championship level at best. Mavididi inconsistent so left winger is a priority. Like Justin, Mavididi seems to need some competition to keep him going. All too easy for players to get away with mediocrity because they don't have anyone battling for their position. So they know they'll carry on playing despite under-par performances.

I'm surprised there was nothing in last night's gossip/newspapers about what could happen today. Usually by 11pm the articles are written, so to not hear anything is good?

Aside from our draw, for the competition it's quite a good round. Some good ties including lots of PL teams away: Plymouth vs Liverpool Leeds vs Millwall (?) Orient/Derby vs Man City Exeter vs Nottm Forest Doncaster vs Palace Coventry vs Ipswich Blackburn vs Wolves Birmingham vs Newcastle Mansfield/Wigan vs Fulham Only 4 all PL ties.

Has there ever been a time where we've drawn the same opponents in the League Cup and FA Cup (before a quarter-final stage perhaps)?

At least we'll be on TV to watch it...
