When I posted this about an hour ago, I think England were only 3 down in their game. What the fvk happened?! Has the pitch totally broken up? -

Waking up to needing to chase 359 is welcome. Thought it'd be much higher than that. Not that I think we'll win, but we've got 3 days to chase it down if so. Guess it's realistic and not impossible... -
Tired himself out didn't he

Ridiculous save from their player at point blank range. Schmeichel-esque with the starfish. Deserves better than the defence in front of him.
-
Amateur performance from him. These are the kinds of games you want majority of players to exceed in. But he was one of many that were distinctly underwhelming.
-
Loved our tactic of floating crosses into their two lumps of centre backs. Ridiculously easy to defend against. Amateur performance in that respect. Not sure what the tactical change was for either. No point bringing more midfielders on to just pack out an already congested midfield. Didn't make sense.

Don't think so. Keeper already had the ball by the time Vardy went down.

2nd half shit show. Cooper has no idea sometimes on how to influence a game in our favour. Just looks totally lost sometimes and then that filters out to the players. He made the changes, and the players just lost all ability to play cohesively. What's he even saying at half time as well? There's a distinct lack of responsibility being taken by some of our players. Too many mistakes regularly creeping in, too much laziness being shown. Soumare isn't to blame for tonight in the slightest, but he just isn't the answer is he, ever Today could have been a chance to show we can play well for longer than one half. But that seems to be the way this season.

Two quick wickets. Makes it very interesting and more pressure on the middle order. -

Time for a couple more of the old guard to step down and begin the transition to bringing younger players through. I'm half inclined to include Kohli in that, too. Only 1 half century in 9 test innings this year so far. Sharma doesn't fare much better either. 18 innings in 2024 Two tons Two 50s 10 scores of 20 runs or fewer. Just not good enough any more. -

More underwhelming and embarrassing performance with the bat from us. At risk of missing out on the WTC final if we lose this series. -

Luton's disallowed goal is a shocker from the officials. -
Turning into an onslaught from Atalanta. Could be one of those games though where they waste all their possession and Celtic hit them on the counter.

Decent game so far in Bergamo.

Do you ever forget the names of Leicester players?

Are you the one that sits behind me and can't pronounce Iheanacho? -
I think it's just people reading into it a bit too much, that's all.

And what should they dress like, as fans? They want to look presentable, no? I don't see much wrong with it. As others have said above, it's their actions in the next few months and beyond which will be telling, not that they chose to dress smartly for a photo op.

I'm actually surprised people are bemoaning the fact people dressed up smartly for a photoshoot at the club of a new initiative Seriously? What did everyone want them to dress up as?
-
I probably would. As I hadn't (yet) I didn't know there were so many other police involved and the other compelling and key parts of the case.
-
As above, didn't know much about the car. I thought he was arrested. Driving towards an officer though is pretty shitty behaviour, agreed.
-
Didn't know that about the car being linked to the shooting. Like I said, don't know much about the ins and outs of this specific case. Did he know they were armed? Agree he could have mitigated the threat and prevent further action. To me, it's to check (somehow) that he is actually armed before shooting. Like, was he pointing a gun at the officers before he was shot? Obviously the answer isn't just to let him go and I think you know that's not what I'm saying!
-
Yep, I don't disagree in that respect, and can appreciate his criminal history has preceded him. But can you shoot someone on a presumption? I don't know the laws or ins and outs of how a Police Officer should act when it comes to this high level of incident? Was he searched? If Police are acting on presumption all the time, I'd have thought there'd be many more shootings every week/month/year given the amount of organised crime gangs operating across the country. Which in itself is alarming...
-
I don't discount the gangs/violent behaviour thing considering what has come out about his actions about a week before. Don't condone it, and I have less sympathy given his gang involvement and behaviour. BUT, at the time he was arrested at his killing, wasn't he unarmed? Did he have a weapon on him? What threat did he pose at the time of his arrest?
