Has he positively changed the culture here? Starting to see signs of it on the pitch. Players appear to be happy here, no sulking around. Some bad eggs gone out of the club. Allowing youngsters to flourish. Obviously nowhere near the finished article and probably tactically loads more room for improvement, but there seems to be some changes for the better already...

Comfortable. Page, Thomas, Souttar, Braybrooke, Alves, Joseph all very good. Surrendered a but more possession 2nd half but barring their shot that hit the post I don't recall there being anything threatening. Some of the passing is still dodgy but that was more from the older players. The youngsters seem to be embracing it. Feels good to win at home again, and seeing the youngsters flourish.

When we do it quicker before they can get set, it's fine. And works. It's when we piss about with it and their press is high up in our box. McCarthy is the root of it all. Plays everyone into trouble.

Page is just so good. Constantly showing for the ball, always on half turn and has pace to get away from their midfield. Makes a mockery of his absence last season unnecessarily. I'd love to say him and Alves are the future but there's no way Page stays in summer. Does Alves get to claim his goal

Alves starting is a big positive for me. Was the best player vs Burton but lacked quality around him. Hopefully Howell plays like he did vs Ipswich. The downside is still Reid starting.
