I mean we had Vardy with sketchy fitness (missed most of pre season), Daka out and Cannon loaned out (questionable wisdom now as surely he couldn't have done worse than Edouard), but we were a Vardy injury away from Mavididi or Ayew as our striker. We needed a striker, but should have had one signed long before messing around on the final day of the window, and it's another disasterclass that we didn't insert a break clause, in the end you just get fatigued by the shambles that is LCFC.
